Travel Inn - Motel in Michigan City - 3944 Franklin St, USA

Very clean rooms, my usual MO at hotels is to wait down everything with 90% alcohol as I didn’t hear to my surprise. The towel was not brown with dirt and God only knows what else, but was still a white towel! Very good price great location and across from the 24 hours Walgreens the service was five star very friendly

All I could want from a motel. Comfortable rooms, solid location, and a very nice owner.

I always do an inspection of our room it was all clean except for a pair of ladies panties under a wooden bench beside the frig We don't normally stay at a Travel Inn but we was tired so we did We might give it a try again you in the future

The owners bought an aging Travelodge and have been working to renovate it, but it's very much a work in progress. Keep your expectations low, especially considering how economical the place is. There are still a lot of scratches in the paint and bathroom fixtures that need replacing, but everything in the room worked, and the beds were quite comfortable. It was also very clean.

If you are wanting a place that is no frills, and just to sleep for night it was ok. It is located near a busy street so I heard the traffic most of the night. This place wasn't the worst I've ever stayed. It obviously needs updated and some repairs made to windows and doors. The owner and his wife were very polite and friendly.

Room basic, no coffee facility which I think is pretty much a standard requirement. Bed comfy enough. Pretty rough looking inside & out. Hair in the shower recess which was horrid, strongly suggestive that it’s not cleaned between guests. Decent sized room in great location. A good stop over but not fantastic in anyone’s language. Other guests fighting loudly late at night outside our door was irritating but certainly not the fault of the complex. Toilet is loose on the floor so needs repair. ||Can highly recommended Holly’s for dinner, but be aware it’s popular so you may wait but well worth it & FABULOUS staff

I've traveled around to many places in my time but never have I been so disgusted with a hotel in my life! The sheets were pretty much drenched in what looked to be sweat stains and the holes in the walls made quite an eloquent adjustment to the marvel that was our room. Gross. End of story. We ended up getting a new room that was slightly better, a room where the locks on the door didn't seem like a formality and where we couldn't find what looked like cheese bits in the sheets. The sign on the registration window said no refunds...I feel like they should use the money we couldn't get back to rent a wrecking ball.
