I was trying to find a room in Natchez at a reasonable price and this was the only place where I was given a rate under $60. The rooms were clean. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was fresh. The flatscreen TVs made viewing a pleasure. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent room at an affordable price.
The room was way more expensive than I expected it to be. I pulled into the Travel Inn looking for a room. A sign on the door said the office is now located in the same office as the hotel in the same parking lot(The Red Carpet) The room was over $100. I assumed that was for the Red Carpet and asked about the Travel Inns rooms. The clerk sarcastically stated "they own them too!" I found another room but dang folks that OWN the place!! I have stayed at the Travel Inn during the holidays and it wasn't that much which is what brought me back this time. It looks as if the they are in the middle of or have remodeled. I hope the increase in price came with an upgrade of no roaches.
Never will come here again. I'm guessing there was a misunderstanding when I checked in. I asked for a full week and I paid the price that I was given. Mind you me and my son has nowhere to go at the moment. On my 4 night/day they're putting us out saying it's our check out time when it was supposed to be a full week. The rooms are good don't get me wrong. I just don't like how they handle the situation 😕 😒
Roach Bugs all in the room coming out of the head boards, Rats running across floor and in the garbage where we had put pizza box, the room smelled so strong of Curry it would make you sick to your stomach. We demanded our money back and went somewhere else so (Dont Waste Your Time Or Money) the most horrible hotel i have ever stayed in. The owner told us we have never had any complaints before you but...||( YOU HAVE PLENTY READING THESE REVIEWS)
I paid $50 for a single on a Saturday night. Room was fine, a/c, ice machine (with card access), waffles for breakfast, friendly desk people. You'll be fine here for a night. If I had to do it over again, I'd rather stay at the Days Inn on the highway into town that has free breakfast and dinner on Sundays through Thursdays...
The owner/managers are a very nice older couple. They and their staff were always helpful and friendly. The hotel itself could use some repairs and touchups. And, unfortunately, they have bedbugs and roaches. They do have a pest control company come out, but I guess the guy isn't using the right stuff to get rid of them. The price is right. But, if you can avoid bringing your suitcases in, then leave them in the car, and put your dirty clothes in a sealed bag after you take them off. Maybe, wear Off to bed.
I don't even want to give this 1 star but TripAdvisor is making me give it something although it deserves absolutely nothing. This has got to be the most disgusting place I have stayed in. I've stayed in Girl Scout camps and hostels that were better than this place. List of things that would send anyone running: blood stains on shower curtain and toilet seat, thin heavily stained towels, tears in the sheets, and when we asked for more towels the lady at the front desk told us the manager/owner was sleeping and doesn't like to be woken up (even though it's his job to ensure customers have what they need)! I will never stay here again, no one should.
Will definitely not will NOT stay at this hotel EVER again! Omg what a dump! Upon entering the room I saw one roach in the bathroom, no big deal, but when I saw 2,3, then 4..Houston, we have a problem!! We would have slept in the car if it wasn't for my 8 month old son and it being so late and cold. Please what ever you do, find another hotel because they need to exterminate this place and then burn it down to the ground!
