A/the proprietor greeted us at the door, which began our charming experience. Large art on the walls first caught my eyes. Then the artistic lighting fixtures above, highlighting their features. Various wait staff saw to it that everything about our dining experience was exceptional. Entrées we chose from the bountiful menu were a culinary delight when served. The portions were generous. None of us had room for dessert! Our tab was surprisingly reasonable. This place is wonderful!!
Pretty pricey but amazing food! Perfect place for a date; nice, classy ambiance, friendly service and tasty food. The linguine pasta was $28 but you get multiple types of seafood in a white wine sauce. It was very flavorful, I would have again after I save up a paycheck lol. They give you free bread with the olive oil/ vinegar dip. 100% coming back. Also one of the few restaurants in the Bay that stay open past 9pm! Thank you for this.

Have lunch here after two years. Unprofessional service: one bottle of wine was not evenly distributed, another bottle needed to be refilled. Recorded sequentially, but failed to put down sequentially. Food quality has also deteriorated.

Still have outdoor seating, didn't feel cold cos the heater did the good job. So crowded, food is good. Had a wonderful night!
The bread with their special Italian dipper is very good. Fried calamari is also better than most of the other restaurants I've tried before.
However, the racks of lamb are really disappointing. Talking to the manager and finding out they cut off the fat and leave the entire chops very lean and hard to chew for older people or some one without a good teeth.
I will give it 2 or 3 stars for the food, but because the manager removed the charge of lamb as he said "you don't even like it, how can I charge you". So, they earn back one star for the excellent service and consideration.
My food was fairly good, no complaints about portions, flavor was ok. I didn't add anything, that was my choice.
Service was ok, we asked 3 times in 30 mins for the dessert menu. I came late, but wasn't offered a drink or anything at all.
Atmosphere was good enough, loud enough to hear your own thoughts but not the person across the table.
Our dinner was very good. My husband had the lemon garlic seafood pasta and I had the cioppino. Both were full of shellfish and seafood. I don't like when restaurants use a ton of salmon in these seafood dishes. We hadn't been here in awhile but we'll be back! Also very reasonable prices!
Loved this place! Great food, excellent service and nice restaurant with warm ambience.
We were checked in immediately upon entering, and the waiter informed us that the table will be ready very shortly. We only waited a mere (maybe even) 2-mins and the kind gentlemen apologized that the table was not ready before we got there. How nice is that?! What great service and I knew immediately that I picked the right place for taking my friends here.
We ordered a variety of dishes... steak, pasta, carpaccio, seafood paella ... all tasted excellent and absolutely everyone -- loved the food. :) :)
We finished the meal with espresso and cappuccino drinks that were just as good.
Thumbs up and we'll be back!
The restaurant is cozy and the decor is nice, but the food and service gave me the impression of a diner trying to be upscale...decent food...boring meal presentation. We had the fried calamari as an app., which came with classic and unimaginative condiments; tartar sauce and a marinara/cocktail type sauce; however, the calamari was tender and the batter was tasty and never flaked off. Another app...grilled polenta cakes tasted...well, grilled. If it wasn't for the overabundance of the sauce, which was dull and did not compliment the cakes, I would not have eaten this dish as it was bland through and through. For entrees we had the skirt steak and the 'Chilean' sea bass. Both were cooked well and tasted fine, although the sea bass was slightly salty than necessary. To top it all off, the service was mediocre. Our waiter was inattentive and only checked in on us once and the other wait staff were rushed and seemed to lack awareness or couldn't care less as when they were moving a couple of chairs around, they banged my seat twice on separate occasions without acknowledging any possible disturbance. Overall the experience here was basic and I would not go back.
