Tranquille Resort - Resort hotel in Hiawassee - 834 Lower Bell Creek Rd, USA

We were well taken care of during our stay at Tranquil Resort. We scheduled a pontoon boat but due to reasons not caused by Tranquil we were not able to go on the pontoon. They refunded our money, offered free drinks and let us go on the Go boats free of charge. We had our small dog with us so I only stayed on the go boat for about 15 minutes but it was still a lot of fun! I love the lights they have hanging around the trees at night and the morning fog just above the lake is breathtaking. This area of GA is absolutely beautiful and I like that it’s not as touristy as Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg areas. Adorable cafe with lots of wine, snacks, food and coffee etc. I also really loved the huge swing they have overlooking the lake. Cabin # 5 is huge and great for a family, it’s more like a house. 😀

If there was a 10-star review I'd give it Tranquille Resort. We stayed in Cabin 6 for 2 nights and the cabin was beautiful! Right on the water, comfortable bed and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The property was clean, well manicured and taken care of and the views of the lake were spectacular. You can't go wrong staying here!

Jennifer has been so attentive with the process of booking my family stay at Tranquille Resort. The staff has great customer service and friendly. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at Tranquille Resort. It was everything I wanted for the weekend and more!!! I will definitely return, thanks again.

This resort was fantastic! We went up for a friends birthday, and used cabin 5 as a great homebase for all the guests. The lake is close, they have a huge dock with a big floating raft That’s great for lounging on. You’re close to town and lots of great hiking. The cabins are all nicely furnished and quite comfortable. My only quibble would be for the smaller cabins that have the loft area, they are much hotter upstairs than the downstairs and there’s no air circulation up there. I think a small oscillating fan would do wonders for making that area more comfortable.

Tranquille is such a a wonderful property. Loved our cabin. We took our small dog along. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We rented the pontoon and Go Boats. We had everything we needed on premises. Amelia's Cafe is filled with delicious items. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location. Great house. A few misses on basic hospitality touches. 1 single packet for a smore in the room. Might as well not leave anything. No ladder to get out of the water if you want to swim off the dock. The price to rent a paddle board or kayak was unreal and a waste. We would have used them for half the price.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the quick get away our family needed. The cabins are so cute and FULLY equipped with everything you'd ever need. Our kids loved the loft beds and the Go boats. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. Amelia's Cafe was such a perk to have on property and we enjoyed the donuts, coffee, and wine. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Tranquille Resort! My husband wanted a mini vacation for his birthday and I’m so glad I found this gem! Everyone there was so pleasant and made us feel at home. The kids especially enjoyed fishing, swimming, and the little playhouse. It was also nice to have Amelia’s cafe on site—my husband and I loved the latte and the local wine! We will definitely be back!
