Trails End Motel Sheridan - Featured Reviews (287)
I found this place, it seemed quaint from the description, and the price was perfect. But I was highly advised against this hotel by locals, and after looking through the reviews, it definitely isn't deserving of it's rating. I will definitely be staying elsewhere :)
After reading some reviews I was a bit hesitant to book here but did it anyways. I was pleasantly surprised. My room was updated. Bathroom was clean. Bed felt like memory foam. My complaints are that the curtains did a very poor job of keeping out light and it was a bit noisy. I could hear the people above me walking, I was next to the stairs so I heard every time someone walked up/down, and there was some train noise. Overall, I would recommend staying here.
Newly renovated rooms are big, very clean and tastefully decorated. Front desk staff very helpful and nice. If you love lamb ask General Manger Shane to make you a wonderful middle-eastern lamb dinner with root veggies. May 2023, 3 night stay.
I really enjoyed our night we spent. The room was big and clean. Felt safe and the guy who helped us at check in was amazing, especially with how late it was. I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.
Don’t fall for this scam. We unfortunately rolled the dice on Hotwire and ended up at this quaint little hole in Sheridan. The place is exactly that, a hole. There are so many unpleasant smells, you can’t decide which one to focus one. The stains, the doors that are swelled shut, the smokiness and also listed as pet friendly with a giant NO PETS sign in the lobby. The worst part is that we have been double charged and are still waiting for a resolution because, unsurprisingly, no one can “verify” the charges. Even though we have a paper trail to prove it. Avoid at all costs. 😕
Read other reviews and almost canceled but decided to give it a shot. Not sure what some complaints are about but I didn't hear any train noise and my balcony faced the tracks. Sure the whole place could use a nice wipe down but for the price and the super comfy beds I would stay again. Came for a little family reunion and this hotel is exactly how I remembered it growing up, sad the pool isn't open anymore that was the best part except the restaurant. I would sneak in just to swim as a kid, hope they get it up and going again. Can't wait to come back for another visit.
Not sure what has happened to this hotel. We have stayed here several times over the years and had great rooms. This time...not so good. Room 106 should not be rented out. The thermostat is still broken, as reported in a review 5 months ago. Additionally you could hear water running continually near the toilet. We reported it, but were told the maintenance man was busy with another issue and he would get to it later. By 10 PM, he never came. Bed was comfortable and room was clean, but no heat. Glad it was May and not January. The grounds have also been neglected and it appears to be very run down. On the upside, the BBQ restaurant was great. Fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs. Also nice staff. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we will not be back.
Older rooms, but very clean. Super comfortable beds and the staff was outstanding. Experienced a problem with the cable the second time we stayed there and the moves are room right away. It's always going to be are layover place now when going to Denver.
Over the holidays, we came to Forge Physio and Performance looking for a gym. Michael and Chancellor were welcoming, knowledgeable and provided a great space to train while we were in Sheridan. The gym space is equipped for functional fitness and pat
