Trail Boss Steakhouse - Steak house in Natchitoches - 301 South Dr, USA

This was the third time here. Very fast service to get seated, drink and order. I decided to get the steak and half rack of ribs, with sweet potato and water. The food came quick. Ordered the steak medium but it definitely was med well, still tasty but a little dry. Ribs were dry and without rub, as many Louisiana style are, but they bring a bowel of BBQ sauce to add flavor. At almost 30 bucks (35 w/tip) it was good but not a 5 star. Like I said there was nothing bad, service good, location good and the food was 4 out of 5.... I will try just one of the Porter house steaks next trip for 37 and expect a 5.

The food is absolutely amazing. And the staff are amazing as well. Stopped by on our way back to Texarkana and we decided to stop and we are glad we did. Everything about this establishment is amazing. Thank you for a great meal and great customer service. God bless you. I’d give it 10 stars if it was an awesome. Incredible food, incredible service. Our waitress was so nice. Steak was cooked perfectly and the appetizer sampler was awesome. I would come back here anytime!!

Good fried mushrooms. Heard great reviews on the burgers so we tried it. It was good but the bun and burger were a little too dry for my taste buds. Will try steak next time we pass through the area. Waitress was like a drink ninja we didn't even have to ask for refills it was always just there.

Food is not done properly. My grilled fish was not cooked thoroughly and my husband steak you have used as a hockey puck. He ordered it rare. The waitress was rude and acted like it was a chore to even take our order. She never came to see if we needed anything much less to see if everything was done right. She was to busy with her cellphone. For their prices you would expect way better than this.😡

We came to town for the first time in a very long time and have always had a good experience. So after six hours on the road, we decided to order curbside. We arrived on time and were told they had a breakdown and couldn’t give us the kids meals, but we could have something different, the schedule pick up time, an hour in total, we finally got part of our food. Then they tried to blame us for not having the rest of the food ready on time saying we didn’t give them a phone number to call back which we did. I paid in cash and they tried to keep nearly a $20 tip. No offer for any type compensation for the inconvenience…Ridiculous!

The food here was absolutely horrible. The ranch was soured. The chicken Alfredo had raw and chewy chicken in it and the vegetables they put in it were undercooked and crunchy. The noodles were way over cooked. We had to ask numerous times for everything we requested like silverware and the horrible ranch that should have came out automatically with the food had to je asked for atleast 3 times afterwards before it came out. Refills had to be asked for multiple times as well. I would highly recommend avoiding this place and finding somewhere else to eat at in the area. The bathrooms were also dirty and lacked basic supplies like toliet paper.
