Tradewinds Airport Hotel - Featured Reviews (238)
Positive: Location to sofi stadium Negative: None of the amenities were available: pool, restuarant, bar. It was more a long term rental than a hotel. Very dirty bed sheets and the bathroom had hair and tooth brush from previous people. 2nd room AC unit was unplugged from a blackened outlet.
DO NOT TRUST THE PHOTOS!, all of them are outdated from years ago, there's no restaurant, no bar, no pool access since it is dark green dirty, no pool table either. The management//staff is horrible, and the area must be one of the most dirty, smelling and unsafe I've ever been in the US. If below zero rating existed, I've would've give it a lower rating than 1 star!
This place is gross as soon as me and my family got in our room there were roaches everywhere and they were huge. I don’t recommend this place because it’s just so disgusting I should’ve looked at the reviews before booking even the outside looked gross.
If I could put negative stars I would, gross gross gross this place is a pile there is homeless wandering around in it , a room caught fire and they just boarded it up. The shower head comes from the ceiling the roof light is mounted on the wall water damage cockroaches..DO NOT STAY HERE
I don't know why this place has such terrible reviews. I like most people checked several sites to get a feel for the location and ultimately decided to book in lite of what I saw. This place was great for the cost, the best I found near LAX. The amount of space in our room was surprising, great location and they offer several amenities. I stayed one night, the lobby is a little shabby and upon arriving it was quit busy but the front desk was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious the couch could use a deep cleaning but me and my husband just put towels down over it to be safe. The bed was soft and the water hot. At night the atmosphere is lively but we stayed to ourselves. We did take advantage of the complimentary champagne and shuttle. I suggest checking out 1 1/2 early to ensure a spot on the shuttle its first come first serve. You can't beat it for the price I think allot of people are just expecting too much. My experience was great. Stay to yourself, mind your own business and you will be fine. We will stay again.
The room was dirty and smelled like mold (allergic reactions started to ensue on our throats). The sheets had cigarette burns and were stained, they were still folded on the bed right-side up (owners/room service) would be aware of this. The fridge was dirty along with the restroom! My family and I were there for less than one hour before we decided to leave to a safer and cleaner location. After attempting to refund the hotel reservation, the owner denied this. This experience was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had staying in hotels!
This LA Adventure/Trade winds hotel/apartments are only good for a bed, a refrigerator, and bathroom. Clean bed (hard) and bathroom, but the place needs a lot of work. Even just washing the walls would help. In unit 201, the windows were unbelievable. The bathroom has a missing window they put a plastic piece in that must have been laying around but it didn't cover 1/2 and there was only a half of a toilet paper holder. Not even removing the other half. I checked the other windows and none of them closed so that you could warm the place up. Very sparse on the furniture. No nightstands to put your bed items on. Electrical plugs were not convenient in bedroom. The only smoke detector was covered with plastic and tape. Major maintenance issues. I was only appreciative of the politeness of the staff. The third party booking agency has incorrect information for what they offer. There is no continental breakfast, nor is the restaurant open as stated when I booked the room. Electrical wires hanging in the center of the buildings, no elevator, and there was obvious smoking going on in some of the rooms. This is a place to stay if you have no other option. So uncomfortable and there would be no way I stay here again.
Room 228 was clean but bed sheets looked dirty. Bath towels looked dirty.
Co workers room smelled nasty with Cockroach. Recommended u stay at 228 230 232 234 ..those room may be the best
Good location to base yourself out of if planning a trip in the LA area. The location is easy on and off the freeway, which makes it easy to get around. Well, as best you can in LA traffic.
The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The only
Love my stay here. Find the room clean and big. Breakfast : pancake, bread, cereals, egg and bacon. Pretty decent I feel. Just that the room will be noisy in morning as itâs at the cross junction.
Upon arrival check in was easy, did not realize the hotel was as big as it is because online is appears smaller. My husband booked a room and check in process was fine, the guy Adrian answered all of our questions we had about transportation and reco
