Towner Motel - Motel in Quitman - 210 S Main St #2548, USA

I have stayed in 4 star hotels that weren't this clean. As I understand it, this motel is under new management and they are doing a great job cleaning this place up. The lady at the front desk is so nice and my room was spotless. No bugs, no dust, clean sheets. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there is no pool. Still worth it, they are great here.

Really want my money back! Scared to sleep here! They said it was clean and ready but it’s disgusting! The housekeeper lady was nice but she was a liar!

All rooms are new redone it has all the comfort like being home and the staff are great and treat you like a person should be

They should be ashamed to charge the price they do for the room that’s offered. My room was so stuffy you could hardly breath, it took 3 hours for the ac to cool the room off enough to even go inside. Blankets were dirty pillows look and felt to be at least 3 years old. They were flat and dingy. The sheets were the same, what use to be white sheets were a disgusting shade of dirty beige looked like dead skin color to me if you asked me how to describe it. I should hve went the extra 2 miles down the road to the other motel but I had driven 700 miles and I was absolutely done driving! Also the motels other guests were very “shady” with fish fryers and grills set up in the parking along lot blocking parking spaces causing me to have to park almost 7 spaces from my room. I was afraid to leave my vehicle unattended here from the looks of the other “guests” thank god the sheriff department is next door, that’s the only thing that made me have an ounce of safety here. Never ever again will I pay for a room before looking at it! Don’t stay here you’ve been warned!

Well my review it's from the heart. It's cold as hell and the air unit doesn't blow heat it's only cold air, the maintenance gave us a tiny heater that u would think it would help but didn't heat up the whole room. I've asked if I could get another heater they said no. I've asked for blankets I've asked for help for a new heater and still nothing. So this is not a very pleasant place to stay.

Although this is an old hotel, there is no reason not to provide guests with a clean room. The mattress was extremely hard, the shower dropped all night, and the AC unit took forever to cool the room down. I realize renovations can be costly but this could be a nice place to stay if thoroughly cleaned and minor updates completed.photos submitted

Not a good experience. If we hadn't been so tired from traveling for a funeral in Quitman we would have found another place to stay. Hard bed, dirty carpets, questionable bedding, ever changing water temperatures, hot water would not turn off, the list continues. ||||Staff was nice. They clearly had no control over the disgusting environment. ||||Not worth even 10.00 a night.

My family and I stay at this motel EVERY year in October and the owners are the worst. If you have ANY issues they blame it on you and refuse to fix the situation. They are rude and will charge you 10.00 per extra person in the room. The rooms are crappy and overpriced. The customer service is the worst. The owner almost assaulted one of my relatives this year over a broken air conditioner. We will no longer be staying. The hotels have bugs, and VERY outdated appliances. PLEASE take your business elsewhere! Trust me
