TownePlace Suites Springfield - Hotel in Springfield - 6245 Brandon Ave, USA

I am currently 4 days into a week long stay, and I have stayed in hotels all over the world. Could the hotel use a refresh? Sure. But the rooms are clean, the staff is a responsive and friendly, and the amenities are top notch. Nice outdoor pool area, and GREAT price compared to Marriott’s cousin property the Residence Inn around the corner. Really only turn off here is $12 for parking when you aren’t even in city limits - but apart from that, this hotel is an absolute winner. Great breakfast buffet also.

Our stay was just average overall. The room was a bit dated, but ok overall. The TV didn't work on the first day, which put a damper on our 5-day stay. We reported it to the front desk, and on the second day, they sent the on-duty maintenance man. He was able to bypass the cable box and get us access to just the most basic channels. However, the hotel did not try to fix the TV or get us another room for the rest of our stay. Also, the housekeeping service pretty much consisted of us flagging down the housekeepers to get some new towels....substandard for a 5-day stay. Also, there were several hotel maintenance-related trucks that took up much of the small parking lot -- they should have concentrated them in on area away from where most cars parked. Breakfast each day was pretty good. With a bit of effort, this hotel could rate 4 or 5 stars on TripAdvisor.

We had an excellent stay at this TownePlace in Springfield that surpassed our expectations. Firstly the staff was absolutely amazing! Starting with the GM Chelsee Marshall and everyone on their team was respectful welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We ordered groceries but we hadn’t made it to the hotel and the staff put away all our groceries in the fridge so it didn’t ruin. The GM listened to our difficult circumstance we were visiting Virginia for and accommodated our stay to make sure we had enough space and accessible accommodation. The rooms themselves are very clean spacious and equipped with appliances if you want to cook. We had a three party reservation and the rooms was very spacious and comfortable to have us all stay for an extended period of time. There is hot breakfast provided and the hotel is clean, extremely quiet and away from hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend.

I stayed here a couple days ago , The rooms here were okay , room had a funny smell. Most of the hotel staff don’t smile , act as if you’re bothering them to get checked in. The place overall needs better management and staff. Would I stay here again no . The prices was 180$-190$ a night for a basic room and Mediocre staff .

This place has been great & accepts our cats (rare to find). Staying here approx 6 weeks due to a military move & everyone from the front desk to cleaning gals & breakfast crew have been top notch! In a great location whether you’re at the Pentagon, Ft Belvoir, Ft Myers, JBAB or JBA. Room, bathroom, & kitchen are nice. Full size fridge & large shower. Coin laundry & small gym on-site as well. Tons of restaurants & Springfield mall in walking distance. Nearby Franconia metro as well whether here to sightsee or commute. Had an Airbnb nightmare & found this place last minute. They were kind enough to let me see the room before checking in (requested bc of my terrible Airbnb experience) & it’s really nice!

Positive: Have stayed here many times now when visiting family. Great location near restaurants, groceries and shopping. Very safe. Room is great with full kitchen. Bed very comfortable. Coffee and fruit water 24/7 is very convenient. Negative: Slight smell of pot in our room upon arrival possibly coming through bathroom vent. Got worse over weekend with heavy smell in hallway of our floor. Complained late that night when returned to hotel. Next day got better when people checked out. Negative: ""

Positive: Have stayed here many times now. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Free coffee all day is great. Negative: Bathroom in the two bedroom apartment was too small. Counter space can only accommodate one person at a time and very limited place on counter for toiletries. Negative: ""

Do not waste your time here. I’ll preface this with, I have a toddler….Our 4th floor room had a window missing leaving only the storm window that didn’t have a latch or lock. They moved us next door to a room where the bathroom door doesn’t latch closed. The next day we plan for the pool, but they are having problems keeping chlorine levels up to open it. Go to make dinner in a room WITH a kitchen, no pots or pans…front desk says all are loaned out. Bed time for kids on the pullout-half bedding in bag missing. Safety concerns, major inconveniences, literally only made life harder here.
