TownePlace Suites Olympia - Hotel in Olympia - 900 Capitol Way S, USA

We booked a room for an overnight trip but ended up leaving at 11pm to drive home because of a very loud ventilation fan in our room that could not be shut off. It was loud enough to be very clearly heard through heavy duty ear plugs + a pillow over the ears. There was no way we would be able to sleep with the noise. All rooms have the fan, our room just happened to be the loudest. We will not stay there again and do not recommend the hotel if you are not a heavy sleeper. The staff were all lovely.The front desk person tried their best to find another room, but as noted before, the fan was in all of them. The rooms were clean and reasonably nice. And the hotel had good onsite parking and was in a good location to walk to things.

Really nice hotel in downtown Olympia. 2 bedroom suites gave us plenty of privacy and room to spread out. Easy check in , even at late arrival. Limited free parking late night, but was able to secure a spot by 8am before meters were active. |Breakfast bar only caters to people who can eat wheat, but that's common. |Comfortable beds and pillows, clean, but sheets still smell like bleach and someone else's beard trimmings were on the bathroom counter. |Close to all restaurants downtown, easy walk.

Pleasantly surprised by the spacious room, well-appointed kitchen and great workspaces! Comfy bed.||So-so breakfast, really, can I have some kind of meat besides bacon? More used to the lovely spreads at European hotels, sigh.||Location is great for a short walk to the Capitol area, and to local restaurants like the Swank Wine Bar. A little sketchy neighborhood with an old RV and homeless sleeping on the porch of the church next door.||The radiator is in a strange place, partly blocked by the desk. Overall very modern and nice.

Very friendly staff. When we arrived on 7/6 and checked in, we came back out and the front desk lady (Anaia?) had a written down the addresses of some good places to take our 6 year-old son.

The location is located in a quiet area and close enough to the main areas of the city. The attending staff were quick to accommodate (we needed to change rooms) and were pleasant. One staff was about to go on break, but took a room call to help someone with their tv. We did not use the kitchenette, but it was well stocked and modern. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered many fresh items. Thank you for the hospitality!

Nice facility within walking distance to old town, waterfront, and Budd bay port area. Smalltown feel in capital city hustle. Many older building and large farmers market on weekends.

They were under renovation. The room was new and awesome. It was quiet. The breakfast was basically none existent because of the construction. The staff were pleasant. The parking was free. The area and hotel are good for dogs. The area seemed safe and walkable even at night.

Great location, close to the capitol and the lake, and one of the quietest hotel rooms I've stayed in recently. Although the exterior of the hotel looks older, my room was very nice and didn't feel old or dated. The hotel breakfast was very good.
