TownePlace Suites Milwaukee West Bend - Hotel in West Bend - 175 Water St, USA

I had the good fortune to visit the Townplace Suites, Milwaukee West Bend from 22 July through 27 July while attending the Oshkosh airshow. In my 40 + years/800+ nights of staying at Marriott properties world-wide, this was a top-ten experience. The hotel itself was very good and efficiently modern. The people made it shine. Cierra, Claudine and Paul on the desk were very helpful before I arrived and very efficient during my stay . Christine made a wonderful and varied breakfast every day, humming around the breakfast area keeping everybody satisfied. Finally, Katy in housekeeping kept the room clean, safe, and comfortable. The pride they felt in their work was evident. I look forward to staying again.

Wow I am spoiled now and will always look for a TownePlace Suite when traveling. My stay being a few days long I can say that I was thoroughly impressed by everything about this hotel. Worth the money and really a bargain for the level of service and accommodations you will experience. I was on the first floor and my room was so quiet and comfortable I can say as soon as the door closes the quiet starts! Comfortable bed, pillows, comforter, etc.. slept great! I'm thankful to have found such a welcoming stay.

Room was quite nice. Service was lacking. Person at front desk was asleep in the back when we were trying to check out. Location is good for walking to places but don’t expect to Uber anywhere and be able to get back to the hotel.

I am handicapped called a few days before spoke with Claudine who was very helpful made sure I had a room close to the elevators which it was thanks to her! Room immaculate, sleek, looked brand new cute kitchen you could stay a while make a meal if needed. Bathroom mirror beautiful, shower large clean only issue I can share is if you have hip or back issues such as myself couch is hard and toilets are extremely low. I should have had a handicapped room I wonder if that would be better but definitely a great place to stay it was quiet and close to shopping and great restaurants. I would describe this as if IKEA had a hotel!

My husband and I, and our son, really like our hotel room. Great looking, comfy, and new suite, great service, and the lady working there works hard and is very helpful. It is close to the neat original downtown core. This is one of the better hotels I've stayed it in my world travels.

The room was nice but the sheets were disgusting. I checked the bedding before we even sat our things down, saw they were gross, and called down to the front. The janitorial supervisor called back up to our room and pretty much called us liars and “assured us there was no hair on the bed” because it “wasn’t their standard”. I simply wanted her to come up and look for herself and she never did. There was black hair and some kind of red/brown stain all over the bedding. Very disappointing that they wouldn’t even come up to look or change them out for us after claiming they would. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel just based on how rude the supervisor was to us.

I absolutely hate writing this review but I just traveled from Mexico to be told that they gave my reservations to someone else. Worst part is me and my colleagues had several bookings lined up with this particular hotel. We are canceling everything we have on our calendar, and we are no longer working with this particular location. I even called them a few hours before getting them to let them know that I will be arriving late, and they never said anything about being fully booked. Their solution was to place me at another location. I honestly would have preferred them letting me know in advance they accidentally overbooked the hotel. I really didn’t want to stay at the hotel they recommended, but at 1am, I am not driving very far for a hotel; especially coming from Mexico.

Great location, the receptionist was really knowledgeable and helpful. Lovely room. Pool was a tad cold.
