Not knowing the area, we booked this room for a baseball event in Santa Clara, the photos online are NOT representative of the room we actually received. The amenities listed are not present in the room and, as other reviewers have stated, the whole place is pretty dingy and dirty. Find somewhere nicer. Here were our big takeaways: No room service- we had to find the cleaning lady and ask for our room to be serviced after not receiving any room cleaning, towels, ect. Water never gets cold, is gross and undrinkable- we had to purchase bottled water from a local store. You cannot drink the tap water there. Coffee is like tea water, when we asked for additional coffee, they said they didn’t have any more. It’s always hot in the room- even when we turned the thermostat down, the temperature in the room was unbearable most of the time (other reviewers point this out too) Noisy outside from other guests/train (these rooms are so close together, it’s just very noisy and there is a train track right next to the building). Hotel is dingy/old- this gives it a very unclean feeling Very narrow hallways and small elevator mean you’re always bumping into people and there’s no place to move out of the way Elevator dirty- someone spilled sauce all over the elevator floor and walls which was not cleaned up Bathtub clogged- the bathtub would not drain after our showers so there was just standing water in the tub Empty bottles in the shower for soap/conditoner- luckily we brought our own, this was just “one more thing” during our stay. At checkout, the staff did not ask about our stay or anything like that, just checked us out and moved along. The area this hotel is in is a little rough for anyone not from that area- had we looked a little deeper before booking, we would have stayed in Santa Clara proper.

I had a terrible experience! I recently stayed at this hotel this past weekend and I don’t know what happened with the staff truly ! Compared to last time I was there in March the staff and customer service has went down so much . First when I went to check in they tried to charge me a 300$ deposit when last time I was only charged 100$ , secondly with the free breakfast I had grabbed a chocolate milk I went back to my room took a big drink and it was spoiled , I immediately spit it out and threw up all my food and had stomach problems the rest of the day when I called the front desk to let them know THEY HUNG UP ON ME so I walked down there with the milk in hand and handled it in person I told her to smell the milk if she didn’t believe me she refused and pointed at the date which said august 20th I told her I understand but it was spoiled and obviously not stored properly they need to pull that milk off the shelf , THEY DIDNT . Then nothing else was done about it I was held up in my room sick throwing up and had to cancel plans and everything . Lastly I requested clean blankets because something spilt on the bed they told me to go to the front desk to get them and when I requested dishwasher detergent they told me the same thing and when I got there they said we don’t have it actually . This hotel is going down hill fast because the first time I stayed here it was a wonderful experience now it was horrible. Someone needs to fire that manager and hire someone that will keep these unprofessional employees in check or just straight out fire them . I suggest going to another hotel so you can AVOID situations like this . I paid WAY too much money to be treated like that.

I always use this hotel when I come here on my business trip. All rooms have utensils and cookware. If you have plans to stay in this area for a relatively long time it's very convenient. And you can also go to the Mall on foot because this is located next to it.But the only thing I was disappointed about is the noisy environment. I could hear someone doing a party outside. And the sound of the car driving next to the hotel was also driving me nuts.

Our stay started with a complimentary upgrade to a 2 Bedroom Suite on the top floor. The rooms were immaculate & the over sized & extra pillows were a plus ! I would like to thank the friendly & efficient staff for making our stay unforgettable! The free Breakfast was much more than we expected. We will definitely return. This is by far, the best location in all of the San Jose area.

Unfortunately, we discovered bed bugs in our room, on our bed, after we had slept in the bed one night. Front desk personnel were very friendly! But management did not reach out as we had been promised. When we followed up with management in person, they agreed to refund one night of our stay only. But they have not been responsive to our 3rd party booker's efforts to reach them to authorize the refund. So issue is still unresolved. Aside from the bed bugs, there were a few additional issues with cleanliness (e.g. a blood-like stain on the locking mechanism on the door, a plastic slinky and other detritus in the pullout couch etc.) and functionality (e.g. the shower did not drain correctly, and the drain mechanism came detached; loud Imaginarium next door played blaring music into the night every night). Would NOT recommend.

Ugh. I think there is a nightclub next door, and the A/C won't allow me to keep the fan on for white noise. WiFi keeps dropping in and out. If you want a good night's sleep, I wouldn't stay here.

This spot is both a blessing and a curse. First, this hotel is about the epic place to spend your points. The location is fantastic, but the traffic is not. The train station is in the backyard and there is a huge mall with some really good restaurants within walking distance. If you're driving, Interstate 680 is really close and Montague Expressway is one of the bigger arteries the lead to other parts of the metropolitan area. The major bummer is the traffic at various times and it can occasionally be hard to get back here. The rooms are decent, the staff has been wonderful and even though there were a few negatives, I would definitely stay here whenever I am in the area. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast items can be improved. The wifi is very bad. Customer service is a bit slow otherwise the staff is very friendly
