I stayed at this hotel with my family on 26 June for one night. After arriving I realized I stayed at the same hotel two years ago and had the same terrible experience. Main issue on both trips (2022 and 2024) is the pungent smell of marijuana in our room. My young children were crying due to the smell. This appears to be a persistent problem if this occurred both times. I feel like people smoke in the rooms and blame the smell on the previous guests to avoid the fine.
Second issue that occurred on 26 June was my double Queen room was given away to another family even though I reserved it months prior. The front desk was apologetic and offered to give me points as they didn’t have another room where the AC worked. So I was stuck with a one bed unit with a pullout couch. Not cool when you have a family of four.
Third issue I had was the room only had 3 pillows. We arrived late and were ready for bed. I sent my wife to ask for an additional pillow for our family of four. The front desk said to come back at 11pm and he would try and locate one. I decided to talk with front desk as this was crazy to have us wait that late. The front desk didn’t have any extras and gave me a room key of the room where the AC was out and unoccupied and told me to grab as many as needed. I like the problem solving skills there but the room should have had enough pillows in the first place. I would have given just one star but the front desk was apologetic and tried to remedy the problems. I never mentioned the marijuana smell to the front desk since there was no room to move to. I will never stay here again as I’ve never seen such problems with other marriott hotels. I’ve been a Marriott platinum for 15 years and my first review written about a hotel. The point given to me for my experience wasn’t worth the experience I had (both times). I hope the hotel makes improvements and gets rid of the marijuana smell problems they have.
The location is amazing. Literally anything you need while out on the road is just minutes away. The rooms are nice and breakfast is alright. The only thing I didn't like is housekeeping only goes to the room when asked and not daily.
Their rooms are nasty and they don't care. Had I not been physically exhausted from work and driving and the prices not being triple due to the eclipse, I would have changed my hotel.||There was blood stain and shoe print on the linen. The mattress was ridden with stains and debris. There were pubes on the floor, dust where they sit the towels. There was broken glass on the picture on the wall. The general manager refused to comp me anything for the inconvenience. He used the late checkout that I earned from being titanium elite against me, even though it was needed because the room was so disgusting that when I tried to eat breakfast before leaving in the morning it came back up. So yes, I needed the late checkout. I cleaned up after myself, even though they didn't properly clean the room. That wasn't a complement to them. I lost my appetite the night before after seeing the mattress. I slept in my clothes. They have no regard for human health and safety. My emails and calls were ignored. I called until James Preyer answered. He said he did not get my emails and didn't want them. He does not want to see the pictures and basically, I shouldn't have stayed. I'm sorry but I'm not going to drive on the intestate for several hours sick and tired. That would be putting my life and others in danger. He has no human regard.
Marriott— you have to do better. This hotel was unacceptable on every level. The service was rude and slow. The food was scarce and always out of items in the morning. The rooms were dirty-snack wrappers and socks under the pull out bed. No bedding for the pull out available…had to purchase at Walmart. Manager is rude-not accommodating at all. The pool was cloudy and green. I do not recommend this hotel and I will never stay here again
I stayed here from February til March 17 in 2022. Unfortunately I was scheduled for shoulder surgery that turned out a major house flood out the same week before my surgery report date. I spent most my insurance claim stay time in my room healing with friends bringing me groceries to cook. The room service on replacement towels was awesome. The young lady at the front desk at that time was super great. I wish I had spent more time enjoying my stay such as the free breakfast, exercise room or just getting to know it's actually a good place to stay. I recommend all my family and out of town friends to stay there. I told the young man that was the manager I'm coming back to work there. He laughed at the time I was healing. I still would love to it was like my second home. #214🥹
Really gross.
Just one night, I do night check in, next morning I saw a lot of Gross around the room, old pasta and bread more than a year there, dishwasher full of dirty dishes with moisture, moisture on the shower, side bed with a lot of stains?????gross, gross never seen on a Marriott hotel Brand, disappointed and I payed $125 for this kinda of rooms?
Disappointed 😞
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! The manager JAMES is absolutely terrible! This man obviously has no care for this hotel nor his staff. This is a non smoking property, but the entire hotel smells of marijuana while James is on duty. The room was filthy. James is a terrible manager and it reflects in his staff. I have witnessed his staff “rolling up” in the middle of the lobby, James was right there the entire time and did nothing about it. This hotel and James are absolutely disgusting. Whoever placed James in the management position made a grave mistake. James should be fired immediately if this hotel wants to stay in business. I was informed that the hotel has new owners. I will be contacting corporate and the owners to further escalate this matter.
Good location, friendly staff and employees. Room had a damp/wet smell. Nice hotel overall, good for stays not exceeding 5 days

Wow! That sums up our experience. To begin, the woman at the front desk, I wish I could remember her name, was incredibly friendly. Check-in was easy and pleasant. She was there when we left as well and was just as friendly as she was last night. Whe
After checking in, we noticed the floors and carpets were very dirty (and stayed this way the 6 days we were there). The first room they checked us into, the bathroom sink and vanity was leaking and had black mold all in it. We notified staff and t
Friendly service, great coffee, delicious sausage/egg breakfast croissants. Clean, bright welcoming space to sit with free Wi-Fi. A little music in the background would make it perfect. A little hard to find--signage not obvious.
Wonderful training facility. Did training there for 6 months and it was the best experience I ever had with a trainer. Jamal encourages you to do your best while inside or outside the gym. When you are there, you feel like family. Looking forward to
This is one of our FAVORITE places to shop!! I come up from Jackson, MS, to shop here with my sister. The clothes are fantastic, last a long time, and are beautiful. Also, the best part of this store is the staff. Courtney is our absolute favorite. S
