TownePlace Suites Lafayette - Hotel in Lafayette - 163 Frontage Rd, USA

I was here for 1 night, and I gave it 4 stars for two principal reasons. The upkeep on the outside of the building was beginning to slip which is never a good sign, and the veneer on the desk in my room was coming off because the housekeepers kept shoving the desk chair under the desk but the arms were too high to nicely fit under the desk so to get it out it caused the veneer to start peeling off. The same front desk woman who both checked me in and checked me out was bright, friendly, and cheerful, both times. She was a shining star. What I experienced of the common spaces on the 1st floor and my room, they were nice and clean. The hotel is not new, so don't come here expecting it to be new. You'll be disappointed. I found it to be extremely convenient to the Interstate and nearby restaurants and shopping. I did not eat breakfast, but it looked like your normal breakfast stuff. Sitting just off Highway 26, you have easy access to the main roads and streets of Lafayette and West Lafayette. You are on the far eastern side of Lafayette and thus far from Purdue. I would stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights as part of our high school robotics team. Hotel was clean throughout, from the lobby, to the hallways, the buffet area, and the rooms. No signs of bug activity in the room. Bed and sofa were comfortable. In room kitchen was dated, but clean and usable. Breakfast buffet was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had recently. All of the staff we encountered were friendly. Location felt safe and close to restaurants and shopping.

Stayed for a night while traveling north. Room was large, comfortable and very clean. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was surprisingly varied with lots of options and everything we tried was quite good. Very convenient location near the highway.

Absolutely Loved the pool and the hot tub! Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Our suite could have used some very minor repairs, but those certainly didn't detract from the overall quality of the stay, which was fantastic. We would definitely return. The staff were also very understanding with my nonverbal son who has autism. The complementary breakfast was delicious and there was a large selection to be enjoyed by all. First time staying here. Would definitely stay here again. The rooms, lobby were really clean. Staff was very friendly especially Alexis. Alexis was above and beyond helpful to us during our stay.

Will.first let's start with the room ac has not worked Maintenance been in and still working the same The frame around the fridge is damaged and the fridge is not level reported it Maintenance came in and kicked the trim and I understand that new owners but I was here in Dec 23 and was 100% better trash at door is full been here since Thursday lawn not mowed parking lot had trash and also the lawn They need to get there stuff together short staff room was.cleaned need more towels And wash cloth Maybe management needs better training

Positive: Convenient to the Interstate and local restaurants. Room was surprisingly quiet given the proximity to I-65. Negative: The toilet in my room ran several times after it was flushed, you had to close the door to the bathroom to sleep. Management was notified. Negative: ""

I book rooms for my company. When attempting to call and get a receipt, the person answering the phone would not provide a receipt. I was rudely informed that I should provide an email address when booking to receive receipts. I have never had an issue with other hotels as they are booked with a corporate card. As a company that books many hotel rooms on a weekly basis and now many are in Layafette, IN, I can say due to the terrible customer service, we will not be booking with TownePlace Suites in this city again.
