Great place in Jackson, MS for long or short stay. Nicely situated in a commercial area with lots of food and shop options. The hotel is relatively new and comfortable. Breakfast is standard fare and nothing spectacular. Staff was good and helpful when needed. Housekeeper was hit or miss and they seem to be back in COVID days when it was not often and you had to ask for them to do it. There are few a restaurants within walking distance. The area is open and surrounded by high end residences. The lake across the hotel has a path so makes it great for walking and exercising. Overall a good stay and would stay there again. Enjoy

It’s an older hotel. Looks good On the outside and not on the inside. No pull up unloading area. The hall carpets are dingy stained and smell. The room was in disrepair. Fridge freezer frozen shut with a collection of heavy frost. Bathroom fan didn’t work. AC units caused two of my friends allergy and sinus issues. I left after one day.

Positive: The location was great, easy y to I access all I needed to in Jackson. It was great being able to walk across the parking lot for a quick bite to eat and the pond was beautiful. It felt really safe. Negative: When checking I. I was asked to pay an additional charge which was equal to the prepaid cost of my room. I confirmed with the desk clerk that she could see I had prepaid for the room which she said it did show I had it just wasnt the full rate. Negative: ""

Positive: Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. We got a room right beside the elevator, so I initially worried that would mean a lot of noise. However, there was no issue. I have no complaints. Negative: "" Negative: ""

I was first given a room that was 80 degrees then told it would cool down then not offered any help moving to a colder room but struggled alone with my luggage to my new room where the tv was in pieces. I have stayed at this hotel off and on for several years and have always been treated like my business mattered. I will look elsewhere.

Clean and cozy. Absolutely lovely staff. Have been here for a while & will miss their warmth and kindness. The extra blankets are wonderful! Ask for them at the front desk. Breakfast is nice and the lake right outside is a great spot for bird-lovers. Not to mention there are so many tasty spots to eat & drink nearby, especially Wasabi Sushi & Grill and Ridgeland Coffee Co. Longer stays should check out the Petrified Forest in Flora, MS about 30 min. away!

I stayed at this hotel on my way back from a vacation. We’d stayed at another TownePlace Suite earlier in our trip so I was feeling good about our experience. Both the location and how we were greeted, bc I’m a Silver Elite member, we’re positive too. But that all changed when we got into our room. I immediately noticed a smell, upon further inspection it seemed that it was mainly coming from one of the rooms, it was a vaguely “wet dog” scent. When we went into the bathroom there was a mess from some drywall they were fixing. And in the other room, not the one that had the weird smell, the lights didn’t work. I went back to the front desk to let them know about the issues and ask if they had another room we could use, the one they sent us to was a room with one bed and a sofa bed, while our original room was two beds and one sofa bed. I would’ve understood a room with two beds, but the sofa bed was way too small to accommodate us. Also the lights didn’t work there either. Finally we decided to go back to our original room, we were able to fix the lights ourselves by flipping the breaker (something that I didn’t feel comfortable with us doing ourselves but we needed lights). Also we paid for a two queen bed and one sofa bed room, but the beds were definitely full, not queens.

Positive: The staff and location are amazing and have always been when I have stayed there. Negative: The hotel could use an update... The furniture we had in our 2 bedroom suite was visibly soiled from use/overuse, so much so that we did not sit or lay on it the day we were there. This was a big surprise given the consistency/quality typical of Marriott. Negative: ""
