Phenomenal staff. Especially Candace the night person. She went above and beyond. Very professional, kind and sweet. Shawn the manager is great and Tony the part owner is very humble and dedicated. They all went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had came to town for a funeral and previously booked at another Marriott in Grand Rapids. Upon arrival they told us the rooms we booked for were not cleaned nor ready. We were directed to go to Townplace in Wyoming and I’m glad we did!! It was a great stay! We will be returning!

How wild you call down to ask for your trash to get picked up and towels. They tell you to bring the trash down and come get your towels. What happen to service? Motel 8 has better service than that. Do better Marriott

Positive: It's a great place to stay for a longer-than-normal weekend. We attended a 4-day baseball tournament, and everything we needed was in the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing a full fridge, stove, sink, and dishwasher. Very convenient. Negative: ""

Room was ok. Pullout bed was the least comfortable thing and I they made me come get sheets (that were way too big). Coffee pot made a huge mess all over so we couldn't have any. Breakfast was not good and they ran out of coffee down there, probably because they stock the rooms with broken coffee pots. Staff was horrible. I called less than an hour after checkout for a stuffed bear that my daughter left there on accident and Sonya gave zero cares - spewed off a standard response that made it clear they wouldn't look nor did she care. I'd recommend staying at the hotel next door.

The company my boyfriend and I work for paid for a month and a half stay at this location while we were working in the grand rapids area, and I had an amazing experience during my extended stay and have a few shout outs- The sales manager Katrina was beyond helpful and accommodating after a slight hiccup at the one month mark, she contacted the company directly and made sure the reservation was all set to ensure there wasn't an unnecessary move and we were able to keep our room. The general manager Sean has an amazing sense of humor and kept two steps ahead, available with what was needed before I even realized the need was there, and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and help out with the basic tasks of keeping the hotel functioning. Dom does an amazing job making sure everything looks perfect, and always had a smile and a positive attitude as he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Christina at the front desks in the evenings is considerate and dedicated, making sure everything is just right for the guest, following up the next day with sincere concern, ready to make any changes nessisary if things weren't just right. I thoroughly enjoyed the late night talks about our hobbies we have in common with Bill at the front desk, coming back to the hotel from working late. As a rule of thumb, I've learned to stay away from the hotel breakfast eggs, but Lynn's scrambled eggs were so amazing, I honestly put on a few pounds from eating the breakfast here, alone. She's the sweetest woman, full of energy and all heart, and i will always cherish the memories of the good food and conversation with her and Bill in the mornings. Nerideth and her housekeeping team do a stellar job at keeping the rooms neat and clean throughout the stay while being respectful of the guests belongings. I didn't expect to be as sad as I was, leaving this hotel to come back to Lansing, and I fully contribute that to all of the lovely human beings working at this beautiful establishment. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making my stay in Wyoming for work more like an amazing vacation that I won't forget ♡♡♡♡

As a diamond elite member I expect better service from the older Africa American gentleman that was working the front desk. He was very unprofessional with his choice of words (he talked to me as if I was trespassing) he was not at the desk as needed he sat at the bar laughing with other people as me and my company waiting at the front counter for assistance (i actually had to ask another employee for a front desk associated in which they went and got that gentleman's attention). I will definitely be contacting higher management to put in a formal complaint but I'd like to leave a public review about this gentleman's performance as it was very very unsatisfactory especially for a place where customer service should be number one.

Overall, it was great. Very nice stuff 👌,clean room and good breakfast. Lynn was the joe of the place. The hotel was full so you can imagine the number of people for breakfast. and she ran the kitchen like 5 star shef with a great smile and patient. Thank you.

Great location close to highway, although a little bit "hidden" if you don't know the area. Staff was not always immediately visible, but they were courteous for the most part. The room was spacious and clean. I needed a wheelchair-accessible room and they honored that request. The body wash dispenser in the shower was just about empty. Breakfast was decent/typical and the breakfast staff person was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located a few blocks away from both a Target and a Meijer, which was also helpful. Hands down the absolute worst thing about this hotel is how very slippery the floor in the pool area was. Like literally an ice rink. I have mobility issues and was so afraid that myself or a family member would fall. Otherwise, I would stay here again and just walk very carefully in the pool area. Whoever chose that flooring must have been tasked with choosing the worst possible option.
