I stayed 5 nights in a 2-bedroom suite. This place is very reasonable price, clean, good customer service attitude, and very good location close to highway, restaurants, and all kinds of supermarkets. Definitely come back and stay again.
This is my second time in this hotel with my wife, very nice to be back there. The receptionists are very attentive. I thank everyone there for their attention. Great location. Easy check-in effort with friendly staff. Room was clean and well-maintained.The experience at this establishment surpassed all our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with an amazing a**osphere and warm hospitality. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our every need was met. The service was top-notch, with every detail carefully attended to. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Every bite was a delight to the senses! The professionalism displayed by the entire team was commendable, making our visit truly enjoyable. Without a doubt, we will be returning again and again, and we can't wait to bring the rest of our family along to share in the experience. This place has earned our highest recommendation, and we can't wait to come back for more unforgettable moments.
This hotel was actually the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Extremely unsafe. Windows wouldn’t lock, no additional security other than swiping a general card that all hotel residents had to get into your building. The entire building smelled like weed, my room smelled so bad, there were garbage bags laying outside in the hallways at all times. The air conditioning smelled bad, my shower my broken, and my chair was broken. The staff were friendly, but didn’t take concerns seriously. Breakfast area was very cramped and had limited options. Please be careful when staying here….the first time I genuinely felt unsafe at a hotel.
Hunter, who is some guy who works at the reception was a very cool gent extremely professional during my check in. I would also point out that the breakfast is fairly decent. I ate these egg patties which were ok. The room was OK overall, though it did not look as good as the pictures. The real beef was the sort of low brow feeling you got being in this place and some of the creepy people who are staying here. It’s sort of felt like this place was going to be featured on an episode of COPS.I also was turned off by the distinct smell of Peruvian chicken in the hallway. I had to buy two candles, grapefruit scented, to neutralize that poultry smell. I also went to the exercise room, which is ridiculously small, and some dude was already in there, and it was like two guys in a bathroom stall each using dumbbells. I tried not to make eye contact.
Rooms are really dated and musty, smells like cigarettes from years ago. Bathtub didn’t collect water as the drain was broken. For $200 a night this is terrible. I wouldn’t pay $100 a night for this room.
I can not believe the ratings of this place. It was terrible!! First we started with some kid asking my son in the lobby if he could have his McDonald’s because he hadn’t eaten that day. Then we go into the building where our room is and the entire place is dirty and smells like butt mixed with weed. The room was tiny and very poorly lit. The safety lock on the door wouldn’t close because it looked like it had been bent. Half the outlets didn’t work. The beds were the absolute worst beds we have ever slept in. Literally caving in in the middle. The floors were dirty, the washcloth left for the kitchen area had a huge hole in the middle. We were left 2 towels for a room that sleeps 6. The people in the room next to us were smoking and the smoke was coming under our door. I have an infant so I was upset. I called the front desk and was told “everyone knows to smoke outside” and there was nothing they could do. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We have stayed at Marriot hotels several times in the past and I can not believe the company allows this place to hold that name.
Our first time at this hotel. During our travels I have learned that a hotel is a hotel is a hotel but the heart of a hotel is in it's service and hospitality. We enjoyed the hospitality at this Marriott TownePlace Suites in Gaithersburg, MD.||It starts with the General Manager Andrew who checked us in and welcomed us to the property. He was very hospitable and we truly felt like guests during our entire stay. He did well to thank us for our loyalty to Marriott, used our name whenever he saw us during the week. He explained housekeeping and the hours of the breakfast buffet and offered us our gift of points or item from the sundry area. ||Breakfast buffet was always opened on time. I liked the egg patty (fried eggs) vs the usual scrambled eggs. The breakfast meat was turkey or pork sausage. There were hard cooked eggs and cheddar cheese slices. The waffle machine was available and a real toaster that worked. Wheat bread, bagels and English muffins were available along with yogurt and fresh fruit. Cereals were available including the kids favorite - Fruit Loops.||Our room was clean and we enjoyed the bottle of water and cookies as we entered our room. I didn't like the layout of the television. A couple of issues were reported to the General Manager, the bathroom exhaust fan was very loud and the toilet didn't fill quickly after flushing. In the middle of the night the large shampoo bottle fell off from where it was attached to the wall and crashed into the tub scaring us a bit. ||Although I didn't get everyone's name we did meet a couple of other associates that were very friendly and hospitable, Hunter and Earl. Both should be commended for their hospitality and insuring warm cookies were available in the lobby in the morning.||The breakfast area is small I suggest getting up early to insure seating. We didn't use the fitness room but it is small as well. Location is good close to a small shopping center with Panera and an Asian restaurant and a CVS drug store. Parking is ample and there is no charge for parking. Wifi worked great. ||If your travels bring you to Gaithersburg MD we recommend this hotel.
The room wasn’t clean and smelled horrible! We decided not to stay there asked for a refund and were told no. Service was very poor. We met another couple who felt the same way and decided not to stay there either! It was a bad experience all the way around!!!
