TownePlace Suites Ellensburg - Hotel in Ellensburg - 1709 South Opportunity Street, USA

I stayed for one night and was impressed by how clean and elegant the room was. Although I typically don’t sleep well while traveling, the bed here was exceptionally comfortable. This hotel competes well with the new Townwood Suites by Hampton. It’s also pet-friendly, though there is a $50 fee for bringing your furry friends. Stepping outside, you’re greeted by a beautiful view of the mountains—bittersweet for me as I head East, then South. While there was no vanilla creamer, the breakfast provided was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. It’s a new, clean, and very nice place. The bar in the lobby area is also a great touch. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area.

I needed an emergency place to stay after spending the evening in the ER and couldn't have been more happy. Was so thrilled to be able to redeem my Marriott points for a stay in a small town. The hotel was clean and appeared new and fresh, with comfy beds and up to date furnishings and bathrooms. The kitchenette was a major plus. Staff was friendly and my room was extremely quiet, easy for me to sleep through the morning and afternoon. Would absolutely stay again.

I travel all over the US and I was thoroughly impressed with this property end-to-end. The hotel was super clean, rooms were outfitted very well, and the staff/front desk was absolutely SUPER - professional.”; accommodating, helpful, friendly and fun.!! 100% recommend and the bar had a grand reopening Saturday night which was an added bonus. I believe the manager was Joy - and she was fabulous :) thanks for a great stay!!

Positive: The room was spacious and had a nice kitchenette. Negative: The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Definitely sunken in from other guests. The people above us had young children and they were running around a lot. It would be nice if a hotel put guests with small children on the first floor.

Pros: Great hotel, location, and staff. Continental breakfast was great with lots of options. Cons: loud doors at night, extremely hairy hot tub (GROSS).

Needed an emergency place to stay the night for 4 adults and 2 cats. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. We had trouble connecting with the wifi, but to be fair, I never bothered to ask about it - just wanted to unplug and not worry about it. The hot tub and pool was enjoyable and breakfast was included. Lots of families with kids were having breakfast when we came down. Overall, super happy with our stay!

My family stayed for two nights during a local wedding at the end of July 2024. One daughter reported that her room was not made up after the first night. We found that our towels had been replaced, but the bed was not made after the first night. The second morning I awoke with flea bites. I could tell from their location that the fleas were in the bed. You charge $50 for cleaning after a pet has stayed there. Apparently, you are not doing a good job after people bring their dog into the bed. Not every humane is subject to flea bites, but I have long been and know what they are. I had aboutt 10 bites on my stomach and hips after sleeping there. When I mentioned it to the receptionist, they said they would report it, but we were on the way out so not sure that happended. Also, while the breakfast had some good waffles there were typically some amenities missing. Had to ask for forks and creamer so the workers don't stay on top of keeping the buffet well stocked. Although the feng shui of the room was good, the value was poor. Would not recommend to a friend.

The TownePlace Suites offers comfortable rooms and a consistent breakfast experience each morning. However, the shower setup lacking a door resulted in a consistently wet floor, which was inconvenient. While the location is slightly outside of town, everything remains conveniently accessible within a short 5-minute drive. Traveling for work and the kitchen amenities were helpful.
