TownePlace Suites Dickinson - Featured Reviews (395)
I spent 1 night here with my daughter in law and grandson in a 2 bedroom suite. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchenette was very well appointed. The hotel has a good location close to I-94 and the Dinosaur Museum (which was a big hit with my grandson). The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided some good dining recommendations. However, most dining options and other attractions are not walkable from the hotel. When we returned to hotel in the evening, the power was out. The staff responded well and walked us up the stairs to our room. We had a long drive ahead of us so we checked out before breakfast was served. I would be comfortable staying here for a longer period if we ever return.
Even though we were in the room next to the elevator, we heard nothing at all in the room and slept very well. The bed was comfortable; there was an array of pillows, and everything was very clean. There were a number of paint dings that should be addressed. Breakfast was good in the taste and the foods offered. This is not our usual chain to stay in for road trips, but based on this stay, we'll definitely consider Marriott properties again!
Solid experience. Liked this hotel. Furnishings are starting to show wear and probably time for the soft goods refurbishment. But other than that, very clean and well run. Breakfast seemed a little higher than the Marriott standard! Breakfast lady Tammy worked smoothly to ensure everything was properly done, and done well. Appreciate the lemon water in lobby for hot summer days!!
Excellent stay, great value! Stoped here on a road trip out west. Friendly staff (Tammy at breakfast was especially lovely) and clean, large, well kept rooms. Good laundry & gym facilities. Didn’t swim in pool or hot tub but they looked great! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The room was so clean and the beds comfortable! Their internet was down, which affected their key entries to rooms, but they were making it work and so accommodating! In the morning, we were running behind and missed breakfast hours by 20 minutes, but Tammy and Tonya were absolute gems to our hungry family. They prepared delicious plates for us and made us feel right at home! They were so sweet to all of us, especially our 7 year old daughter. Excellent hospitality!!!!

Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot of great things I can say about this hotel. We were really surprised at how disappointing it was, considering the great reviews. We stayed here twice on our road trip, on the way there and back. The first night, we got there late and we were exhausted. The room looked fine at first glance, and if it was clean it would've been okay. But there was brown residue (not just a stain) on our comforter. There appeared to be jelly on the curtains. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were scratchy. The edge of the sheets aren't even stitched, just a raw fabric edge. We were exhausted so we just pulled the entire comforter off and went to sleep. Breakfast was actually pretty good, we appreciated having fresh waffles with plenty of topping options including candied pecans and chocolate chips, raspberry syrup, etc. Staff was friendly. On the way back, we got a different room type and upon entering our room, found gross pieces of fingernail on the bed. There was pieces of chips and a dead fly on the floor, and gunk on the bathroom wall. So we asked for a different room and that one was better, but obviously their housekeeping staff is not doing a good job. I genuinely have no idea how they made the bed and somehow fingernails got on top of it without them noticing. We did appreciate the dining table in the double queen room. The red chairs in rooms are kind of gross and could use a replacement. Oh, and the art in both rooms was absolutely bizarre and kind of creepy, honestly. I'm including pictures of them with my review. If we had another option in the same price range, we would not have stayed here on the way back. Probably wouldn't recommend you stay here if you have another option.
A great location to stop for the night before heading to Theodore Roosevelt national park. Fuss free check in and check out. The staff here are very friendly too. We were almost late for the breakfast and the staff still asked if we still need more. ☺️ Overall we have a lovely stay. Thank you so much.
I got married last fall, and we booked a room block at the Hawthorn. Kim and her team were phenomenal to work with! We had our rehearsal dinner there, and our wedding party all got ready there the morning of the wedding. Kim even hooked us up with a
Our family of 6 stayed in the suite room. 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Lots of room to spread out. The rate was very decent. Cheaper to book with them directly than Expedia. Breakfast was nice. Lots of variety.
Our room was clean, spacious, had a fridge and microwave, and the beds were very comfortable. Most impressive though was the breakfast! Sweet and salty options, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, waffles, great coffee bar, etc. And the woman working the bre
Great place to stay! Read some bad reviews and was hesitant! BUT from walking in to a pristine lobby, visiting with the owners, and checking out our roomâ(it was spotless, bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean, too!). So glad we stopped for
If you are young or old, fit or just wanting to start working out...this gym is for you. I got a personal trainer, Ana, because this was my first gym experience and I didn't know what I was doing at all. Ana made sure my expectations were reasonable.
Very friendly service and great food. The spring rolls were amazing - the peanut dipping sauce was perfect...! The Pho was also fantastic.. no option for grilled pork in the Bun and no Bahn Mi sandwiches on the small menu. Highly recommended for s
I really enjoyed my meal here! I ordered a cheeseburger salad, and it was so delicious! I didn't even need to add the ranch, but I sampled it and it was homemade and nice and creamy!
Our waitress was so nice and polite! I loved all the artwork hangin
Driving across the country and we were thrilled to find this gem of a business. The staff were incredibly friendly & kind, running a menu out to our car so we could take a look before placing our order. Our window server greeted us with big smiles wh

Double Mushroom and Swiss with coleslaw. Super service and food. So refreshing to find a great place to eat, never been here before...just passing through town. I would definitely be back if I lived closer. ð
Back in 2019 in route to Glacier National Park saw signage for the Enchanted Highway. Things like this are the reason I drive vs flying, to the main attraction. You can enjoy the unique things you find along your trip. It may have taken me a distanc
