The rooms have been updated, new carpet, new paint, and soon they will be installing new appliances in the kitchens. Beds were comfortable, rooms were somewhat quiet. A/C and heat worked very well. Location is excellent, There is always coffee in the lobby along with flavored creamers. Staff was excellent, especially Demetrius. Warm welcome, fresh cookies and coffee. I would definitely stay here again. We were in room 312.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast and super-clean modern room. Good parking. Free coffee in the lobby and the best pink lemonade (also free!). Ideal for the town square and good restaurants. Well worth the money and would definitely stay again.

The room was dark and dreary. There was only one small mirror and it was in the bathroom. There was no table and just one office rolling chair. The sofa was small. The bed wasn't bad. The general amenities listed bottled water in the room but when I asked the person at the desk I was told they could give us 1 bottle of water. |The breakfast was good and the staff person working in the breakfast room was efficient and kind. We would not stay there again.

Old and run down like a motel. We were given terrible room selections, at the stairwell or over lobby. Went to let front desk know how unhappy we were, some guy starts with the hotel is long term and does not have many rooms for one nights stay. Then he asks numerous times if we would like to leave. He NEVER offered us another room. There were many rooms empty. We were there for radiation treatments and were tired and needed rest. 4:44 am guests were out our window chatting loudly. The windows and mirrors were filthy. Big hole in shower wall. The gentleman who does breakfast is very nice! Can not believe this is Marriott's acceptable standards.

Once again this property failed on many levels and is NOT worthy of the Marriott brand. There are limited alternatives in the Villages as all are equally down-in-the-dumps but if I’m going to get substandard why pay top dollar for it. This property allows dogs- good if you are a dog owner- bad if you want a nights sleep. We had constant barking all night long. Front desk did nothing to abate the issue. Room was dirty- hair all over bathroom surfaces. Other surfaces not dusted. Furniture worn and in need of replacement. This property needs updating. Access door to parking lot NOT locked although there is a sign indicating it is along with keyed entry lock .Our room was just steps way from this open access door. Not secure, not safe for single travelers. TV required “reboot” which had to be performed by hotel maintenance. Sheets and pillows threadbare no extra blanket available. Finally although it’s good to see they are doing some much needed maintenance on this property starting exterior work with hammer drills and banging at 7am is disruptive and a perfect way to bid an early farewell to this once again disappointing stay. I’ll drive a lot further next time to avoid this property.

It was about what we expected for an older property in the Spanish Springs section of The Villages. Our room was well furnished with a complete kitchen and a workable bathroom. ||However the bed was showing its age with rigid sides and a soft middle so we were “rolling down” towards each other all night. And even though housekeeping was offered every other day, we never had any so we trudged down to the front desk asking for normal housekeeping supplies…totally unacceptable at this price point for a Marriott property.

The hotel is located within the Spanish Springs area of The Villages. We're considering a move there and wanted to experience the culture. Finding coffee in the lobby was hit or miss each morning. When the carafes were not empty, the coffee was hot.

We recently stayed here for 2 months while dealing with some home damages/repairs. All of the staff (management, housekeeping, breakfast attendees, maintenance, and front desk) were all very friendly and professional. They all made us feel very welcome. I'd like to also say this hotel is very dog friendly. We brought 2 large dogs with us during our stay. They offer a dog walking area on premises. There is also ample parking. I did not use the pool or hot tub but did sit in the area. It was exceptionally clean and stocked with towels for guests. There is a daily breakfast that has lots of things to choose from. My favorite was the fresh waffles. The front desk also has fresh cookies available (daily)for the guests. The rooms were just renovated. We had a suite with a king-size bed. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, silverware, coffee makers, toasters, and pots and pans for cooking. There is also a washer and dryer available for your use. They were $2 per load. I brought my own detergent, but the front desk has it for sale if you need it. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping us stocked with whatever we needed. The location is wonderfully located right at Spanish Springs Town Square. There is nightly live music and a lot of restaurants to choose from. There are also a few places to shop for clothing. There is a Dunkin Donuts located in the Square also. That was a major bonus for us. Spanish Springs also has a lot of weekly/monthly events going on. Check their calendar for those events and times. All in all, this was a very positive experience for my husband and I. Thank you to all the staff for accommodating us during our stay.
