TownePlace Suites Tampa Clearwater is perfect coupled with a direct flight to our annual New Year’s week away in FL. We spend every day out and about biking, kayaking, visiting various offshore keys, a bowl game, and of course mixed in with a little beach visiting. So I’m never concerned with staying at a high end beach front place. I just want precisely what this Marriott brand offers with its cleanliness, security, convenient location, cost, and wonderful service. This hotel in particular though is set apart in its class by the kind and thoughtful staff. Latonya was so welcoming at check-in and shared all the details necessary for our stay along with NYEve fireworks and events in the area. Likewise breakfast and housekeeping staff were ever helpful throughout the stay. A perfect stay with wonderful accommodation.

Latonya is everything. She is the sweetest person I have ever met and so great to work with. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was great. Craig was so nice and helpful. Can't wait to stay again. All the staff was willing to help. My family enjoy the stay.

My husband and I enjoyed a 10 day stay in Clearwater visiting family for Christmas. TownePlace Suites was the perfect hotel in the perfect location. The room had a full kitchen, a large bathroom, a sitting area and a separate king bedroom. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. My only complaint is that the room did not have a dining table., although there was a small round sofa table that would accommodate one person. The king room is more suitable for one or two people. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially Latonya. Upon arrival, Latonya greeted us with a marvelous “Welcome”. She was always smiling and ready to assist. Every staff member acknowledged us with a smile, or hello as we passed. The housekeeping staff went about their work quietly and always allowed guests to pass or use the elevators before them. The hotel was also safe a secure. There is an outdoor heated pool which we did not use due to our schedule, but we did see some families excitedly using it. Breakfast was included with the options changing daily. Coffee and tea were available all day. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful experience at this incredibly CLEAN hotel. We stayed only overnight to catch a very early morning flight. The rooms were immaculate, lots of towels, and plenty of space for us. I heard minimal noise, even though we were outside of a freeway. I felt super safe knowing the front desk was supervised all night. A quick, 10 minute drive to PIE airport and to Clearwater Beach. Fully recommend for families!

On the surface of this hotel it is very chic. Then when you stay a few days you realize some glaring oversights. Leaking fridge. Engineer was great, front desk was awful. I food over frozen and we had to use the towels to mop up the room. Never were we offered compensation for the food we had to toss. Second, very lacking in lighting in the room. Only 1 light on the ceiling otherwise it was a few lamps. We actually had to ask for another lamp. If you are staying more than a day, there is a lack of storage in the room. No drawers. A family room that has a kitchen should have wine glasses. Also, no table to eat on. This hotel might want to think of adding some sort of flip table so a family who cooks in the room actual has a place to eat. Pool is nice. Gym is very good. Breakfast could have more fruit options, however hot food items were yummy. They have luggage trolleys that are identical to the airport. If you are a family of 4 staying more than 2 days. These trolleys are not logical. Please change to the trolleys that most hotels use. I will not stay again

Excellent stay at a brand new property. Easily accessible to pretty much anything you want to get to. The management were able to accommodate an early check in (as we had flown from Canada that morning) and Latonya the front desk agent was a delight each time we saw her. I’d definitely stay here again the next time we take a cruise out of Tampa.

This hotel was welcoming and everything was amazing. Upon my arrival, Latonya was a nice and caring soul and changed my room when she noticed the room we picked out was not enough space for 3. She accommodated us and changed us to a different room with no extra charge. We are very grateful. On my second day, the breakfast was fresh and warm and I had plenty of options and seating. It’s a very relaxing environment. Then the pool was amazing for me and my kids, plenty of seating with umbrellas and a big pool. The security in this hotel is 10/10. The rooms are equipped with many locks and the elevator has great technology. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious and accommodate your needs. You will for sure be safe and secure and well taken care of at your stay. 10/10 recommend.

Latonya has the best customer service skills and always makes a trip so easy. This hotel is clean and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding and we look forward to coming to the Tampa area knowing we have a great place to stay. Thank you Latonya!!
