Positive: This was a wonderful hotel and I would recommend it to everyone. Everything was very clean and well appointed. We were so glad they allowed dogs. Our old pup loved it there. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics. It was also very quiet. Negative: The pet fee was expensive at $100 per stay. We paid around $200/night for the room, so it seemed really high to have to pay such a high rate. The dog area was well maintained outside and clean. That was refreshing.

I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was as good as any in its class that I have ever stayed in, despite being in a rather random town. Quiet, very clean, good water pressure, friendly staff, good room layout, and comfortable bed.

Where to start...worst part was... dirty dishes and empty water bottles in the cabinets, and a horrible pull out sofa! The mattress was clearly stained and had fruit snacks under the sofa cushions. My 2 adults 6' 4" sons had to sleep in the same full size bed because they refused to sleep on the pull.out sofa because of the stains ( i dont blame them it looked like urine/ blood) the location was perfect, had a cute kitchen which was the whole reason for booking to celebrate Christmas with our family in South Jersey. We checked in the night before and was asked what time we would be arriving and I put 12pm when we arrived at 1150, they said they sent and email saying the room wouldn't be available until 2pm. I did check my email when they told me about the email I did check and they emailed me after I all ready left home. When we finally got into the room I went to start preparing dinner and discovered the dirty dishes. Luckily, I brought a lot of my own stuff, but I also had to soak pots pans and spatulas in hot soapy water and then scrub them to get what looked like burnt eggs off. I then decided to make some coffee, and I discovered that pot doesn't even reach the spring to release the coffee from the top, so the whole pot of coffee overflowed all over the counter and the floor. The tvs in the bedrooms weren't working, so we finally checked the batteries and noticed that they were dead. The TV system all together was difficult to use. It seemed like the buttons/ remotes were definitely not working correctly. The refrigerator froze everything, and the body wash they offered in the shower was completely empty. The other beds and towels were clean, and the rooms were quiet and peaceful otherwise. The staff was very nice and tried to fix what they could with a super short staff. We hope they can fix these things so we can come back and enjoy when we visit south jersey again.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. Convenient location, right off the highway. Downside is you can hear the traffic. Rooms are showing their age. Kitchen items are either dirty, broken, or missing. Numerous lids but only one pot. Broken steak knife. Very dirty baking sheets.

I like these Hotels, the rooms are big, kitchenette is equipped adequately, the snack bar and the bar up front are convenient when you roll in late and just want a snack and a drink. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Some other amenities if you need/want them, pool, grill, gym. Room was cleaned, and the bed was made, every two days without prompt. Thanks guys. One minus, the washing machines and dryers run on.... an app. Argh, why? Contrary to Smartphone-gen believes, this does not make life easier. I don't want to install an app to do laundry, order a burger, buy a. movie ticket....especially if the app is region sensitive and cannot be installed on my phone because it is set to a region other than North America. It is a hotel, stones throw from an International Airport. Guess no one considered that. All in all if you are in town like I was for a job, great place to stay. The one across the river in Philly is equally good. Thank you.

Good - clean room, quiet setting, comfy mattresses, well-equipped kitchenette. The bad - deplorably uncomfortable flat pillows, tight squeeze bathroom, high dog surcharge ($100), limited close parking. The unfortunate - no ice buckets are provided in this hotel (so how do you get ice from machine to room???), there is no canopy over entryway so you get soaked in rain checking in and schlepping bags!, desk clerks clueless about bar hours, weird and unpleasant breakfast selection, trash-strewn parking lot. The pillow fail alone was enough to preclude a return visit. The place has potential but isn't living up to it.

A great quick stay while driving up to NJ. Front desk attendant Bre was super supportive of a post-stay puppy billing question and resolved it immediately. She is a great representation of the Marriott brand, thank you all so much and happy Thanksgiving. See you on the next drive through!

My husband & I stay at a lot of Marriott's.We are Ambassador Elite. This one is top notch. The staff is amazing. Customer service is by far the best. We got upgraded to a suite thanks to Managers Yaz & Alex. They seem to go above & beyond. Front desk Carly, Jesse, & Esmerelda very helpful with any questions. The hotel was sold out on a Friday night. We were coming in town a Saturday 5 hour drive. I called the front desk on our way hoping to get early check in.After a long drive want to unwind. Esmerelda said give me 20 min & call me back let me see what I can do for you. She got us in. The room was sparkling clean. The whole hotel is super clean. Its right off the highway. Location is great. Many food choices near by along with supermarket. There are a few hotels & brands in the same parking lot as Townplace. We have stayed at the others before we found this gem. This has & is our only go to place when visiting family.
