TownePlace Suites by Marriott Detroit Troy - Hotel in Troy - 325 Stephenson Hwy, USA

We stayed with our 9 months old daughter in a king suit (312 sqft room). Everything was clean. No complaints. Breakfast food was also good, mostly the quiche was so good. The front desk lady at night was so nice and friendly, but the morning one was not. So, I would say it completely depends on who is there.

Staff is amazing! We stayed here and I left my brand new ipad here and my daughter’s beloved stuffed animal she has had for years and they had it put up for me. Rooms and common areas were clean. I would stay again for sure.

Worse hotel and Customer service skills! The turned away my children and her friends on my reservation because they said my mom was not able to check in when I called in advance and made sure this was taken care of, my mom had to call me during a wedding. The receptionist who was from the streets, sounded like, was awful to deal with! This is what you get when you pay someone $8 an hour. SMH Awful experience

Person working the 3-11 shift on 4/8/23 was so nice and helpful! Overnight person was cordial but not welcoming at all. My room was clean except for the fruit/veggie peeler... It had food crusted on it. The hotel was EXTREMELY clean. I didn't hear any noise through the walls, I was very impressed. The doors, however, you could hear a pin drop on the other side. The complimentary breakfast did not earn any compliments from me. The eggs and fake sausage were terrible, but there are plenty of breakfast options around the hotel. The pool room is a sauna in itself. Way too hot in there to be enjoyable. The staff and security did do there best to control the kids running around slamming doors, so I was thankful for that. The cleaning staff is more aggressive than other hotels. They start rushing you out for early check-out around 10:15 a.m and are VERY RUDE. SUPER ANNOYING. All-in-all, I mostly enjoyed my stay and the hotel is very clean. The only things that would actually prevent me from staying again is that this location seems to be used as a babysitter for parents with bratty kids, and the rude housekeeping staff.

I stayed at this hotel to visit my family for the holiday and a bed bug was on my sheets. I had to get rid of all of my belongings. This hotel has a bed bug infestation.

Room clean and comfortable. Forgot to clean one day. Breakfast adequate but no frills.

Staff was nice, nice spa/pool however our room was not clean. The microwave in our room was dirty like they had not cleaned it in a while and there were smears on the bathroom mirror.

Probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Super clean, nice bathroom, kitchenette- like a mini apartment. Beds were so comfy too. Staff was great & they had lots of snacks to choose from which came in handy after we got out of our concert and didn't feel like going anywhere to eat. Breakfast was decent as well.
