I've been living here for years theses are only Motel/apartments that let you stay as long as you like I love manager and the workers at least have roof over me and my daughter head it's not about where you live you turn any place into a home they always help me out and here for me their like family
No turndown services provided. No wifi. Provide your own paper supplies. You get what you pay for, the rates are unbeatable. The staff is great, always available if you have a problem. Shift people sometimes but I guess that is every motel. I would book again!
Much much better than many moons back. Staff are very friendly and always show up when needed. Owner is very sweet and also friendly. Anytime anything needed fixed their on top of it.
I visited someone there. Expensive and somewhat run down.
First I have to say how clean this place is!! When we got here I wiped off everything in the room and there was very little if any dirt/dust. Everything in our room worked great. Quite place for the most part. Very sweet lady working at the front desk, not too much activity at night. We love it here and will definitely be staying here again!!
After living here a week it's been nice meeting the people.
I'm still waiting on screens for my windows but the atmosphere is friendly and peaceful. I prefer this place as a living unit above the Americas Best Value Inn when it comes to the office workers. The liberty here is more like home and we've found it suitable though no pets are allowed.
Update: ... Seems the management has taken a new approach. Rooms are not that bad anymore. They've cleaned it up a lot...
Dirty disgusting roach infested blood soaked floors. The fact this place is allowed to operate is mind boggling. This place is even to nasty to rent by the hour.
This would be considered an adult only hotel, in my opinion. I stayed two nights. It was quiet, clean, and the hotel staff are informitave and answered my.many questions. There is a full size kitchen with gas stove, full fridge, and tons of cabinets. The room was very affordable. For a weekly stay I paid 250. In some cases you get what you pay for. The hotel is very old. The bed is very thin and you can feel every spring. The shower has cracks on the floor, there are druggies just standing around outside. If I had older kids I wouldn't stay here just because I wouldn't want them outside. On the up side, it's a clean affordable place to stay in a nice central location wirh polite staff and a huge kitchen and Direct TV on a flat screen. Plenty of parking, though getting large vehicles through the property is tricky. Oh! So far, there have been zero bugs. That's a plus!
Stopped for dinner in Bakersfield on our way to San Jose. We enjoyed some pupusas - shrimp for hubby & loroco (squash flower) for me. The chicken tamal was very fluffy and had more of a spongy texture. The plantain empanadas were very rich and creamy
