Isabel Cunningham and I visit Tortoni biannually, and are wonderfully pleased with our experience each time. The nutty latte is exceptionally tasteful. And the caramel pumpkin latte is scrumptious. They have games and a book about Alaska for customers, which I found just exquisite. The orange awnings outside sheltered us from the large raindrops. It was a great place to be on this fine December morning!
I absolutely love this neighborhood coffee shop.. I have become quite a coffee nut in the past 8 years and tortoni’s espresso doesn’t compare to other coffee shops. These guys really know their stuff. Their temps are always spot on and their hot lattes are so smooth, no need for flavors here! I’ve been a loyal regular customer for about 8 months now and cannot see myself finding anything better in the SFV.
A fun little coffee shop with actually a really great spinach pie. There's not too much seating so it can feel a little crowded. The hot chocolate has the option of adding different milks: whole, %, oat, soy, etc. A small free parking lot where you may need to wait around for parking.
Service was fast. The ambiance was modern.
Always friendly service from everyone on the staff at Tortoni! Love their empanadas also along with their quiche!
Their coffee and lattes are amazing and I’d rather support a small business than Starbucks next-door

Who knew coffee and empanadas make a good team? I do now! Prior to coming into the physical location, I’d ordered several times on UberEats and enjoyed the some red pepper and black olive quiche, pasta frola (a not overly sweet guava tart) and the Aztec mocha.
Today I finally went in and ordered an iced Aztec mocha (kinda like a latte and Mexican hot chocolate had a baby) and a perfectly sweet, sugar covered croissant like pastry called a Kouign-Amman. The location is relatively small but they have comfy seating including some lovely cushy chairs inside and plenty of outside seating. I didn’t see they had Mate until after I ordered my latte, but I can’t wait to try it next time! Properly made Yerba mate beverages are just so good and the energy you get from it is so much less jittery than caffeine. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating to my several questions about the drinks and pastries.
If you’re looking for a coffee experience with an assortment of unique drinks and food options, I’d highly recommend you try Tortoni!
This is the perfect local cafe you can go too on a daily! Their Argentinian coffee tastes divine! They have yummy pastries and empanadas. The staff is amazing a friendly, and they’ll remember you and what you order if you go there often. I always get their iced coffee with a splash of milk and caramel. It’s also a great place to study, they have a restroom and complimentary wifi.
Wonderful coffee. Great vibe and superb friendly service. Can't go wrong. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. Few pastries with magical coffee and also empanadas in menu. Love it !!!
