I ordered a shrimp dish. The flavors were fine it’s just that I was expecting more than 2 pieces of shrimp for the price I paid. The service lacked luster as well. Never asked me how anything was, never offered a refill on my drink. It was just an okay experience. Most likely will not go back.

Toro is a pretty solid Japanese restaurant that also offers hibachi. I’ve only had the sushi here and it didn’t disappoint. No frills and very enticing special rolls.

Absolutely incredible! Best Japanese food I've had in quite a while. The gyoza and the special rolls were phenomenal, and I can say with confidence that I bet their other food is just as yummy! We had the Sandy Hook roll and the Crazy Roll, and they were especially delicious. Highly recommend!!

Food was great, sushi was great, and the drinks were perfect. I gave a 4 star for service because our server didn't offer to get me another drink. Instead, she filled my water cup. We had to find the waitress for our check and then had to go find her again to pay.

This was delish!!!! We did Hibachi for NYE and it was phenomenal. I like that they do fried rice instead of white rice.

Great spot for dinner that I stop at as a halfway point back to NYC/NJ from central CT (and lunch is great too!) - I’ve eaten here many times and it has always been great food and pleasant service.

Great experience. It's defenaly a great show while you wait for your meal to be made at the hibachi table. If you don't believe me, see the attached photos Great menu options plenty of street parking clean bathrooms 🚻.

We sat at a normal table on the lower floor, but still had the hibachi chicken and shrimp. I liked it better than the other popular local hibachi restaurant. Ginger dressing was amazing as was the seasoning of the white dipping sauce. Shrimp and chicken was also seasoned perfectly. Very tasty. I will be back.
