Tacos and burritos are very flavorful. I love the different varieties. The drinks at this location are amazing especially the cherry limeade. You have to give it a try a bit overpriced for the size of the taco but definitely worth the purchase.
This place rocks!! The taco moniker is dead on: DAMN GOOD TACOS!! I’ve had at least 6-8 of the tacos over the last year or two and am blown away by how fresh, they always taste! Today I tried the burrito bowl with chips and queso. The chips and queso are amazing!! The burrito bowl was not as great as the tacos, but it was good. I look forward to coming back.
Torchy’s has taste tantalizing tacos. 12-15 different tacos & fresh guacamole & chips for us. Oh - and beers - 8 on tap (need more). Beer, wine & liquor served at the bar, or self serve sodas & tea. Order up front and they give you a chip & bring it to your table - food & beverage. Came away filled with great food, and the atmosphere on Friday night was just right. Seating inside & outside with drive up, if you cannot stay long. Restrooms - large, lockable, one person at a time, ADA compliant.
Tacos are good but not 6$ a piece good. We had the brushfire, green chile pork and crossroads. All which were mildly lukewarm after a 5 minute drive. Drive thru service was typical fast food sub-par. Was greeted with what I owed and given a blank stare when I said thank you. With these prices you would expect more.
Memphis finally has a Torchy’s taco location, and not a minute too soon! Don’t sleep on this place, they’ve got great breakfast tacos, tbh the queso slaps, and a great time was had by all. Isaiah the manager was kind and stopped by to check on us.
One of my favorite places in Memphis. Lots of variety on the tacos and each one is excellent in it’s own way. Love the sauces. Pork and beef always tender. Queso is also very good and frozen margaritas as well. To go with all this, the service is exceptional. Food comes out fast and staff are very friendly.
I’ve been to Torchy’s in Austin, KC, and Denver and was excited to have a Memphis location since I visit family here often. Ordered takeout for the family and order was ready when I got there but the chips and guacamole was not in the take out bag so had to wait and get that corrected. Most of the tacos were good except the beef ones which were very chewy and difficult to eat.
Had to stop by on our way through Memphis and we were not disappointed! The breakfast taco and Brushfire are amazing, the cheese dip has just enough spice, and the staff were super helpful. My only complaint is that they did not have a shirt in my size that I could buy. 😭

My experience of this place was: friendly, fast service, chips and salsa, absolutely delicious 1/4 chicken with fixings and tortillas, pretty good beer selection and a bargain! Go there.
The food was so good! Our drink orders were messed up and had to ask twice to fix it, but other than that our waitress was very sweet and made sure to give refills and bring more chips. Iâll definitely be going back!
