Torchy's Tacos - Mexican restaurant in Midlothian - 1315 Huguenot Rd, USA

I ordered through the app and had a great experience. The food was ready on time and even though a taco was missing (I found out when I got back home), I called and the manager apologized, refunded me the taco, and sent me an email for a free taco! Delicious tacos definitely on the spicy side but we will be back again! We are so happy a Torchy’s Tacos has opened within 20 minutes of home!

Food was excellent, everything was fresh and the staff was friendly, I went the night before and the next morning.. and both times food was fresh my favorite so far is the Baja shrimp and the wrangler.. the classic bacon and eggs was great also

It is rare that I visit a restaurant that goes above and beyond the way Torchy’s did today. Especially rare for a brand new restaurant to this area! Everyone, from the cashiers (Mary took my order with a smile!) to the bartender to manager Bill Graff was outstanding. Everyone looked happy to be there! The food was great. I had the Democrat, the green chile queso, and the corn. All was really great. The menu is expansive and has a taco for everyone with every dietary preference. Restaurant was very clean, and every worker was moving with a purpose. I saw no one sitting down, unless they were on their (well-deserved!!) breaks. Manager Bill even came and introduced himself after our meal. Kind soul. Will be returning for many tacos in the future. 🤘

The food is always good here and the staff is cheerful. I got the taco of the month - the Chile Wagon - and my wife got her favorite - the Migas. The staff is always cheerful when they take our orders and when the bring the food out.

5/5 star date night at Torchy’s Tacos! I had eaten at a Torchy’s with colleagues a few years ago down in Houston, Texas and remembered that the tacos had such a great flavor, were reasonably priced and the cocktails were pretty solid also. I was super eager to try it now that they opened a new location just off Huguenot and Midlothian Tpke. After find a spot to park in the free lot outside we entered and looked over the menu. There were so many different things to try but my wife and I opted for chips and tomatillo salsa to start along with a margarita for her and sucker punch for me. My wife chose two democrat tacos and I selected one democrat and one crossroads. Staff were pleasant and after making our night (asking for both our IDs) we made our way way to the outdoor dog friendly patio. Food was delivered directly to our table and as you can see from included photos looked delicious. Tacos had a brilliant flavor and tasted amazing. This was my wife’s first (won’t be the last) visit to Torchy’s.

Torchy's has the best tacos! Baja shrimp, mofaux and Mr orange are my top favorites. Tacos are filling! Love the street corn, queso and guac! Always great service and food!

Stopped here for the first time. Rather interesting. A big place, well equipped, but plastic baskets with checkered paper and light up - come to the counter? - food beacons (they did bring it to the table - maybe I was late in recognizing the buzzer!). If one taco will get you by it's good to go, two brings the price up a bit for the level of self service and 20% tip. Stop in if you need a quick snack, but its not a really good, sit down dine-in place.

I have been there twice. A woman standing in line behind me had worked there before. She gave me the rundown of the menu. I ordered the chicken fajita taco. So good. I am a real sweet tea girl, and loved mixing mine with the mango drink. Yum! I will definitely go back. I love that you can order as many tacos as you want rather than having no choice other than 2 or 3 in an order. The only negative for me was how cold they keep it in there. Otherwise it was clean,, and the workers were friendly and helpful.
