Topping Rose House - Hotel in Bridgehampton - 1 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, USA

This was a beautiful property in a beautiful location. We stayed in cottage 21 in the room smelled terribly like mold and mildew, and the best offer we received was to put a dehumidifier in the room on our second day. The air conditioning had to be on high in order to mask the smell, and it wasn’t air-conditioning type of weather outside so we froze each night. We are very surprised in Hilton management for not offering some type of accommodation for us because they had to know about the smell given the amount of air freshener that was sprayed in the room before we got there

The Topping Rose House is a truly exquisite and delightful hotel. Featuring stunning accommodations and a highly trained staff, it is undoubtedly a gem in the Hamptons. However, the only downside would be the spa facility. It left much to be desired, resembling more of a doctor's office in a basement corridor. The lack of a proper spa atmosphere was evident, with the masseuse playing spa music from their personal iPhone.||

Turn down service twice a day is a nice touch. |The restaurant is wonderful, you cannot go wrong with Jean-George.|We would happily return.

If not for the service, this would have been an extremely wonderful dining experience. The valet attendant greeted two cars that arrived behind mine, and left me sitting In my vehicle while my group stood To the side waiting for me to receive a valet ticket. Happy hour ran out of champagne glasses, so we had to share the glasses that we did have. The food was excellent, but not all of it came out during the dinner service, despite asking several times where sides were. So we had to have our food wrapped up when it finally arrived as our plates were being cleared. The restored venue was beautiful, But this was more of a place to claim to have been then place to frequent

I had a lovely experience dining here. The royal plateau was delicious along with their great desert menu. I really liked the service and everyone was super kind. It is a very pretty location and building with amazing people

I had high expectations for this restaurant but was left deeply disappointed, not only by the lack of customer care but also by how they handled a serious issue regarding a lost item. On August 31, I dined with my family and accidentally left behind a tote bag that contained some valuable personal items, including a pair of earrings (Vintage Alhambra earrings of Van Cleef & Arpels) my cosmetic bag and my AirPods. I contacted the restaurant shortly afterward, hoping they would assist in recovering it. However, I was told the bag had not been turned in, and I was assured they would call me if it was found. Unfortunately, no one ever called back. Several days later, after feeling anxious and worried, I followed up with the restaurant. The response I received was less than professional, with the manager appearing annoyed by my inquiry. Still concerned, I went to the restaurant in person, hoping to check the security footage, but was told I could only speak to the manager on weekdays — despite the urgency of the situation. To make matters more frustrating, when I filed a police report and returned with an officer, the manager, who I was previously told wasn’t available, suddenly appeared and claimed to have reviewed the footage. However, I was never asked where I had left the bag or even where I sat. While I understand things can happen, I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the apparent disinterest in resolving the situation. I expected more attentiveness from a place of this reputation. Unfortunately, the management's response left me feeling that guest concerns are not a priority here.

Just a thoroughly exceptional experience. One of the most memorable stays of my life, and I’ve stayed at many of the most prestigious hotels of the world. Take the B&B/inn concept, make it thoroughly luxurious, add a Jean-Georges restaurant and Frette linens, and you’ve got a winning recipe. A category-buster.

Stay in King Suite 2nd Floor- it was great, clean, relatively big considering, and super comfy. Also very quiet which was great considering the restuarant is downstairs. Very different than staying in the other building which is modern and has a unique vibe.
