Top of the Morning Cafe - Cafe in Utica - 414 Trenton Rd, USA

What a fantastic place. If you look up best breakfast within the area, this place comes up, and it is definitely not a mistake. We sat ourselves, were quickly greeted by a kind waitress, ordered, and were served our food in no less than 20 minutes, with a nearly packed house. The food itself was fantastic, the mood and atmosphere were both uplifting and happy, and I couldn't have asked for more. Stellar!

Our family stopped here for breakfast while visiting the area. The diner was friendly and busy on a Saturday morning. We were seated right away. The service was great and the whole menu looked delicious. We chose specials from the board and were VERY pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic. We would highly recommend Top of the Morning. I ordered for pickup. Had received the opposite of what was ordered the first time I usually don’t make complaints but due to an food allergy and over the phone I did repeat myself multiple times I called back explaining my frustrations they told me come back in 15 min they will make it new for me i go back and yet again something just wasn’t heard but not communicated back to me after i constantly repeated what I wanted for each and everything ordered. Very disappointing as I wasted $48 here and couldn’t eat half of what was ordered. I also spoke to two different people so I don’t know what went wrong.

Really great breakfast joint. First time stopping in for a meal and it was excellent. The service was good, the pricing was good, and the food was a large helping with quality ingredients. I shared the giambrone (think a breakfast scramble with melted cheese on top) with my wife and it was super tasty. Their coffee is good and our server was very helpful and smiley. The one knock is that the dining room is dated. Not dirty, but just old and it shows. Other than that one small thing (which won’t keep me from coming back) - it’s a great place.
