Off season on the Cape is the BEST!! Warm, sunny days and cool nights. Top Mast was delightful. We loved our stay in a "garden view" room. It was across a very quiet two lane street from the beach. Not a great view from the room, but easy to walk to see a sunset or take a walk on the beach. The hotel is very close to Provincetown, lighthouses, golf, and not far from Truro winery. ||Since this wasn't the summer, I can't comment about crowds, noise, etc. during that time. ||The hotel rooms are clean, but note that different rooms have different features. For instance, garden view has a/c, beachfront do not. It was quite warm when we were there, so we were happy to have a/c. Not sure how much it costs in summer, but it was a great deal at this time of the year. ||On site is indoor pool, steam room, sauna, and cement pool table outside. | LOL, yes, cement. The café has a great breakfast. We didn't try other meals. ||Everyone at the resort was very friendly and professional.
My daughter and I stayed here for the weekend. I had not been to Cape Cod in many years. My daughter and I stayed here on yet another rainy New England weekend. Despite the lousy weather this resort was very nice. The room was very clean, and we had a ground level room which opens right onto the beach. The patio has two Adirondack chairs which are sheltered so even if it is raining there is protection. Each unit has a picnic table and a stand where a hibachi or charcoal grill can be placed. The kitchen has a good-sized fridge, microwave, toaster, two burner stove, and coffee pot which comes with filters. There were dishes and silverware for 4. We had brought provisions for breakfast and lunch. || The indoor pool and hot tub are across the street and there looks like there is also a shallow pool there for little kids. There were plenty of chairs and tables around the pool. The area there was clean, and it was really nice to go there and not be overrun by screaming kids. There is also a bar there with $7 cocktails (that is Right!!). There appears to be tennis courts and a basketball court as well and there is also a restaurant which serves food, but we did not use it.|| The staff was very nice, and the office has lots of maps, brochures and information about sites and restaurants in the area. There is also a book exchange library, so I was able to leave my finished book there for someone else to enjoy. There is a bus that goes to Provincetown. We will defiantly stay here again and will hope for a sunny weekend. This was NOT New England's summer. My daughter had stayed here over Memorial Day weekend ( one of the only sunny weekends) and she and her friends saw seals frolicking in the bay and she said the sunset was gorgeous.
My fiance and I stayed here after our engagement in September, although it was not "peak" time, the location and rooms were beautiful. Everyone staying here as well was very friendly. The breakfast was great, but a bit pricey. The pool, sauna and hot tub were a great accommodation to our stay! The best part was the sunset/sunrise.
I ended up last minute finding this space and I'm so glad I did! I will most definitely be returning for years to come. There pool, gym and sauna area is beautifully updated. The rooms have charm. I stayed in a room right on the beach with a balcony. Being someone who doesn't like to sleep with outside noises the one exception will always be the sound of the ocean. It was so nice to be able to keep the door opened a crack with a screen door to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves crashing. Look forward to returning next year.
The water front, pool, hot tub, bus to shopping, and staff were great. ||However, the rooms are severely in need of updating for the price they are charging. No AC, terrible mattress, bubbling walls in bathroom, chunks of countertop missing, rusty light fixtures, ripped shower curtain, etc. Luckily we were there a cool week or we would have roasted.
Top Mast has become our family Cape Cod destination. We choose to stay in the Garden View Rooms for the AC. Not so much the temperature but more the white noise effect. Our son and family join us so we are very family oriented and Top Mast fits our needs perfectly. The kids love the pool after a day on the beach and the fire pit and outdoor patio with tables are perfect for ordering in some great food and relaxing. |Brought our own table top grill for cooking and then realized they already have small grills for guest use! A nice treat for us to look forward to for next year. |Staff are very pleasant, accessible and go above and beyond for guests. |Housekeeping is amazing and very thorough. I was in search of some type of glue to repair my inexpensive sunglasses and not only did the front desk staff offer to help, one person went to her own apartment to retrieve some for me. And they fixed my sunglasses!|Already thinking about next year!
Top Mast Resort is more than just a place to stay; it's a destination that nourishes the soul. Its cozy accommodations, exceptional hospitality, and idyllic waterfront setting make it a haven for those seeking respite from the chaos of daily life. It's a place where moments of tranquility and connection with nature become treasured memories.
Our family has stayed here a few times. Every thing from check in to check out was smooth as always. Comfortable beds, Clean rooms, spectacular ocean views. The ocean was still too cold to swim in so we took full advantage of the heated pool and jacuzzi tub. Breakfast in their on site restaurant was perfect. The manager there is welcoming and made sure we had never never ending coffee. The location is great! Less than 15 minutes to P-town and shopping on Commercial St and walks on the wharf. I can't wait to go back again back again next year.....or maybe sooner
Absolutely wonderful room with everything you could need! Beautiful views, we were able to make a morning cup of coffee while looking out over the bay. Amazing sunset pics were taken. Looking forward to coming back!
Delicious!!! The mexican drinking chocolate is out of this world! This is an adorable little shop, with drinks and treats to try on the spot, as well as a great selection of gifts and treats to take home. The cafe menu includes chocolates, coffee, es
Great food ! I loved it. Great staff perfect location along the beach in Northern Truro. Along with great food they have some basic essentials that makes things easy if you are staying near by . 5 stars all around.
One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to, and it was such a pleasure finding this gem while on vacation. Ms Sherri was a fantastic waitress and we were able to get her both times we went. Staff is friendly and the food is superb! Best
Clean grounds, nice camp store, although the hours are a little tricky as they are closed for several hours in the middle of the day. They have nice showers for a quarter and a big recreation hall with pool, ping-pong and Foosball tables as well as a
Excellent choice! The fish was fresh ( i ordered tuna) and the clam chowder was way better than in Lobster pot. Also, very reasonably priced for such good quality food. Will return.
Very cool, old world vineyard. Their product is delicious, and the gift store is well-stocked. They've even branched out into custom liquors. I especially like their custom bottles in the shape of lighthouses!
