Tony's Hot Dogs - Hot dog restaurant in Birmingham - 1922 Montgomery Hwy, USA

The polish sausage is very good, I got mine with slaw and chili and it was great! They deep fry the sausage which is an interesting technique. It is a small place with a small menu, but seems like everything they have is good. Good location and it isn't too loud even though it is busy. They don't have wasteful packaging when you dine in which is great. Overall I enjoyed it a lot.

I grew up in the Birmingham, AL and enjoyed eating Pete's Hot Dogs in downtown Birmingham as well as other fantastic hot dog joints. I had never eaten at Tony's and stopped in on December 1 for a taste. Wow! These hot dogs are just as good and continue the tradition of those Birmingham hot dogs I grew up eating. The French fries were crispy and hot too. In fact, their menu all looked great. There's a reason this place is one of the best places to get hot dogs and hamburgers in Alabama.

Fast service. Great people. The Jumbo Junkyard dog and fries make for a big lunch. The Junkyard Dog is just a little bit spicy, and the fries are perfect. Golden brown and crispy on the outside side, but still fluffy on the inside. Don't let the long line stop you from eating there. The line moves so fast, you barely have time to decide on what you want. It really is the best place for lunch in Pelham, AL.

This place is delicious and has been for years. It gets really crowded and runs out of space at lunchtime, but other than that, I have no complaints whatsoever. Love coming here after my dr appointments. Food is always great, and the bacon, so crispy so good

I ordered a cheese burger with fries and a fountain drink. Everything was delicious! The burger was yummy, but massive. The fries were crispy and golden brown. Just a footnote: Tony's is known for their hot dogs, but I am not a huge fan of hot dogs in general, so I haven't tried them.

This place is excellent it's always have good food and you do not have to wait long for it. The people are nice and you get a lot of food for your money. To me it's the best hot dog place in Alabama if you're in the Pelham area you have to try this restaurant.

We arrived 2 minutes before closing (unknown as 1st time customers) to be wholeheartedly welcomed in with kind words & smiles. Tony's was recommended to me when I was looking for a gourmet cheeseburger. We both had cheeseburgers & onion rings. WOW the juiciest best flavored CB! Not sure what they did to those onion rings but I'll be back to figure it out & try other foods. Service was fast and beyond friendly, the food outstanding. Full disclosure: I never give 5 🌟 reviews as I feel there's always room to improve. Tony's HD gets 5 🌟 easily. I highly recommend.

Absolutely positively the best there is. Always busy. That tells you all you need to know. You will not regret it. But you better be hungry. Because the serving is a lot. I have never gone back and edited a review but this is my first. If I could give Tony's more stars I would. Lunch, breakfast it's all excellent.
