Everything but the Tonkatsu Ramen was great. The waitress was friendly and quick to check on our table. We ordered Chicken Gyoza for our appetizer and it was good and the exterior was crunchy and crisp. However, the ramen was underwhelming at most and the broth tasted burnt. Unfortunately, I will not be returning for that reason.

Fantastic ramen at a decent price! I do have to say that it is rather a hit or miss place since some ramens are fabulous but some others are just so so, there’s no bad food here but there’s definitely some room for improvement for a few dishes. Service is great and the place seems cozy!, will definitely be back.

Been craving ramen and decided on this place for its close proximity to the hotel we’re staying in and the good reviews. Big mistake. We spent a solid 10 minutes standing at the door without even being looked at by the two girls serving/hosting/bussing the ramen half of the restaurant. When we finally were acknowledged, the girl told us it’d be 5 minutes for 2 people… 15 more minutes later we finally got to sit at a table. 5 more minutes after that she came to take our order. During all the waiting, the dining room was as pictured the whole time with tables open. We watched a family have to send food back twice because something was wrong with it and ultimately leave without the dad even eating because of the issues. We were sincerely debating cancelling the order and going somewhere else by the time we finally got our 2 tonkotsu ramens. Too bad we didn’t. The special “aged 24 hours” broth was rather bland, the noodles were so god-awful gummy, and the egg (which was the best tasting part) was completely cold. My husband said an instant ramen packet would’ve tasted better. We were extremely hungry and would’ve been pushing it trying to drive somewhere else, so we ate it, but we were extremely unsatisfied and I’m still craving GOOD ramen. We won’t be back.

The food and service were great. The gyozachos was something new for us and was a great way to start our dinner, very delicious. The broth of the curry broth of the Tori Karaage Curry was very flavorful with a good amount of spice. We definitely recommend this place.

Been craving some warm soup/ramen over the past few weeks, especially with this cold weather we’ve been receiving. I tried Tonkotsu this week with a friend. Service was quick when we first sat down, but after we got our food no one really checked on us for drink refills or anything. Staff was friendly. We both didn’t love the noodles, they were so tangly & hard to break apart. I had the veggie miso & overall I really enjoyed it! Flavors were great. I added an egg to it & the egg was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms were terrible though. I couldn’t cut them & they were so rubbery. I kept wondering if it was octopus instead of mushrooms! I know it wasn’t but it freaked me out enough that I pulled them all from my soup. My friend had the tonkotsu ramen. He loved the menma (bamboo shoots) in this dish. Was a little hesitant at first but ended up really liking them. We also tried the veggie harumaki. These are essentially veggie egg rolls. These were delicious! Great flavor! The sweet chili sauce was really good paired with these.

Stopped in here on the way to the airport. Ordered the wing appetizer and the house fav Ramen. The wings had a decent flavor but were cold on the inside. I assume they are precooked and then flash fried when served? Either way, the chicken was cooked inside but cold. The Ramen was pretty good. Service was quick but we were the only people in the place at noon. Seemed odd. As we were about to leave a couple others showed up.

We met a friend for dinner and decided on giving Tonkotsu a try even though some reviews weren't the greatest. I got the Katsu rice bowl with chicken. It was very flavorful, but as some reviews mentioned the potatoes were a bit cold in the middle and the carrots were room temperature instead of warm to hot. BUT the panko chicken was hot and clearly made fresh. The rice was perfect! Combined that all with hot tea and it made for an incredible dinner. I recommend giving Tonkotsu a try!

This is the second visit as I was not overly impressed the first time so I tried it again. There is a strong smell of chemicals when you walk in. The place is quay and nice although the tables are sticky.(One of my pet peeves) I ordered the TANTANMEN the first visit and it was ok. This time I ordered the CURRY RAMEN and I am not impressed. It is a gravy, there is no broth. The flavor is odd. The few vegetables in it were cold like they pulled them out of the fridge. The best item of the night was the veggie egg rolls but they were really mushy inside. Overall I will not be going back. The staff are very friendly and I feel bad for them. I say…try another place.
