Tong Sui in Redwood City is a culinary gem that specializes in crafting delectable Asian desserts. During my visit, I was particularly taken by the Coconut Bonn, a delightful concoction that I ordered with 0% sugar. Despite the absence of sugar, the flavor was rich and perfectly balanced, allowing the natural sweetness of the coconut to shine through. The ambiance of the place was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Tong Sui, especially for those looking to indulge in unique, guilt-free treats like the Coconut Bonn. 5/5 stars!

I got their brown sugar milk tea but opted for oat milk instead of the house recommended option, which definitely didn't go well. Oat milk made the texture very grainy for some reason. Since all the brown sugar is at the bottom of the cup, it requires thorough shaking before drinking. Unfortunately, because of the design of the cup, I couldn't really shake it well, so I was mostly sipping on brown sugar and had to discard the whole thing after 4-5 sips. I'd have to give it another try (maybe I did something wrong) because the first experience didn't go as planned.

Stopped in and was encouraged to try the seasonal special (persimmon beverage). Got the milky persimmon, and now have a new appreciation for the fruit in this form. So, so good!

Went in on a whim and was very happy to try their desserts. I got the Earl Grey jar and my friend got the Sticky Rice Mango jar. Usually I’m selective with my sugar intakes, but the guy gave us a sample and it was just right, not the over the top sweet. I got another jar for my daughter to-go and a Lemon iced tea, which is good too. They have 5 Bay Area locations and I’ll hit up the original spot in Sunnyvale next time.

Visited Tong Sui because my husband and I are in the area and I have been wanting to try their coconut pudding desserts. Seemed like they were short staffed, and orders took a little longer. However, my order which was just a coconut pudding dessert was taking too long - waited exactly 30 minutes. They forgot my order. After I asked for it, it was done in 5 mins. The dessert, though, was really really good. I got the mango mochi coconut pudding. The mango was really sweet like Asian mangoes. Would definitely try it again, but hopefully service is better then.

Their Da Hong Pao tea latte is surprisingly good even though that's not their most famous drink, and yet great quality tea 🍵 . Their signature 🥥 coconut bomb is very refreshing and their recommended 50% sweetness is perfect, not too sweet!

Great place to get fresh and organic dessert! The sitting areas are very clean for both inside and outside. I’ve been to other locations in Palo Alto and Sunnyvale, their products are always 10/10!! Definitely try their mango mochi pudding for sure.

Finally a milk tea that doesn’t hurt my stomach! The size and flavor makes the price worth it. They did a great job with packing it to go. I will definitely be back for more of the coconut milk!
