Tommy's Drive-In - Hamburger restaurant in Dallas - 2708 Gastonia Dallas Hwy, USA

Solid 3 stars here for budget eatery with budget atmosphere, and budget meals. Food was not really seasoned and my fountain drink was super diluted to the point it was like drinking seltzers. The staff was super nice and personable.

Excellent food and service! It's just off of 321 and 85 in an unassuming building, but it did not disappoint. The burgers were fresh and tasty, the fried pickles were perfect, and the portions were big. Great service has been hard to come by, but Samantha provided exceptional service to us. I don't think our tea glasses got more than 1/4 down before she refilled throughout our meal. I would highly recommend skipping the typical in fast food places around, and visit this place!

Good food on 321 near interstate 85. Service was great and attentive. They made a fresh pot of coffee and came back with refills twice. We were even greeted with a 'Come back to see us' on our way out.

Service was okay when started we phoned in order. Went to go pick up and gave a generous tip. When we got order home which feeding 5 people and there was like four bags. There was some items missing I called the location and I was in formed that the food that was missing handed even been made. So meaning the cook never cooked the order and the three people that I was told by employee that had packed the order reviewed and didn't get it all there. The lady was very rude and never apologized for the four people that worked on my order that they could seem to figure out. I asked my tip back because I had to go back to location and get items there not in order. I was told they can't give tip back because the money not in there system yet. I was okay with going back to get food. I just wasn't happy with the level customer service to handle the situation. Poor customer service.

First time here. Have driven by many times. I ordered Alaskan Fish dinner. I asked server what kind of fish is it? She did not know. She asked. All they would say is fish from Alaska. Took the chance. WRONG!@@^$&^ Was cooked hard. Dry. Crusty. Did not even look like fish! No taste. Hush puppies hard. Like Civil War musket balls. Green Cole slaw. RANCH DRESSING! No tartar sauce. . We asked for manager. Brian came out. We explained issues. The look on his face was like even he did not know what it was. He apologized and removed from bill. Made things right. . Other guest had cheese burger with bacon. Said bacon good. Fries cold. Even grandson would not eat them. . Rest rooms in really bad shape. .

The food is always good. This is Not a dine and dash restaurant. Wait time for food has never been less than 30 minutes. And of course no meal is complete unless you have a Cherry-Lemon Sundrop.

It's still a traditional looking place,I'm glad that it wasn't too bad hot since the air conditioning wasn't working properly. Service - I have to understand that they're short staffed and doing the best they can. It's a little pricey, but what's not these day. But I shall return.

I had the BBQ sliced plate. There BBQ looked and tasted like boiled meat pork and it was smother in a sweet BBQ sauce. Definitely was sad when I saw it come out. The servers where nice and apologize for the fries being late (definitely not their fault) and made sure I had a refill of the lemonade. I told the lady severing me that I did not want any refills but the other lady working gave me one because she saw mine was about half full. She was trying to be nice which I appreciate.
