My new favorite pizza place in north Miami/ aventura area. They have a Neapolitan style crust and amazing sandwiches

I’m new to this area and have been searching for a good neighborhood food spot. I’ve definitely found it. What drew me in, where the cool bicycles hanging outside on the wall. I thought, “These people are thinking outside of the box. Let’s give it a try.” I went with my girlfriend and we were greeted with smiles. It had that family-owned vibe. The smells were inviting and the pizzas looked amazing. We went with caesar salad (large enough for 2), and two pastas. The salad tasted like a real caesar salad, which we love. The pastas were al dente and the sauce creamy and perfectly seasoned. The wine is fairly priced, as is everything else. We enjoyed the tiramisu soaked, whipped, and layered to perfection. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel comfortable. We’ll def be back often.

The place was really cute and the staff was readily at my table and friendly. I order the Peperoni and the Margarite Pizza and the slices were a good size and good flavor. Will recommend for a first date!!

Came by for a quick bite and it was ok. I was craving the chicken parm since that was one of their popular specials and it wasn't too bad. Taste was good but maybe too much marinara sauce on the sandwich. Wanted to try the tiramisu since a review said the restaurant made it fresh but they didn't have any. Overall not bad service and food was good not great.

This place is awesome, super clean, excellent service and most importantly the food is awesome. I had the chicken Alfredo was excellent. Dania took care of our table and she was so nice.

One bite. Everybody knows the rules. Good undercarriage, little bit of flop, great spices, crust flame cooked to near perfection. Score: 8.3. You should go...and try the bread knots with olive sauce.

I found this place in google, reading reviews, i decided to go. I ordered Lasagna, which was amazing, with sangria, which was normal, we also ordered Fugazza rellena Pizza, extremely good flavor, great mass, the pizza was so good that I totally forgot to take a picture. Last but not least, the waitress, Antonella, she was great, provided good recommendations, always smiling, perfect customer service skills. I highly recommend this place, i spent aprox $64 for 2 with food and drinks.

I never leave reviews but my experience tonight was very upsetting. Short Version: The food was ok, and our waitress was nice. What left me speechless was the owner’s father of this establishment (Luis) called my family member “fat”, he straight out told my family member that they were “fat” and needed to loose weight! We’ve spent good money here and this is how Tomato and Basil treats their clients, by insulting their customers. Longer Version: We ordered, ate, food was ok, we were having a nice time, waitress was nice, we paid, and as we were leaving, Luis (he’s the old bald man with glasses) is making small talk and has the nerve to say directly to my family member that they are fat and need to loose weight, and goes on and on mentioning this FOUR times (on top of that the person he was calling “fat” is a 6ft man that weighs 180 lbs, that’s considered “fat” to him). We were all left speechless and didn’t know how to react to this. My family and I, have NEVER been disrespected this way in any sort of establishment before. We paid good money here, and this is how they treat people.
