This is my 3rd time getting sub par food. My order before this had a burnt waffle. This time there was very little chicken and a ton of lettuce. This used to be my favorite local restaurant.
First impressions are very important , When I order a breakfast. I do not want my meat for that breakfast to come first. And then the rest of my breakfast to come 2 to 3 minutes later. If I'm paying for a meal. I expect that meal to be good.. my mother's breakfast consisted of Burnt bacon and it seems a few pieces of raw potato fell into her regular potatperiod. it wasn't crowded. Take pride in what you cook.
Small restaurant, but the servers have big personalities! They were super friendly and accommodating when I had to alter my order due to dietary restrictions. They have a lot of regulars that come in. And they are really patient with customers who appear to have special needs. The restaurant is small. 2 people bumped into my chair as they were walking past me. There's only 1 unisex bathroom and limited parking. But the food was great. I had the half order of pancakes🥞 and bacon🥓. No complaints! The only issue I had was the Sprite was a little flat. I would definitely come back again.
This guy startes the business out of a trailer many many years ago. The prices have gone up significantly but thats hard to avoid. Whenever im back home this is my goto Coney, very nice people n food. (Edit: Please lower the cost of a simple BLT//)

Toma's is a classic example of a great neighborhood coney island. The food is great and the staff is friendly. Try the cake, you will love it.
