Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! From the greeting we received walking in to our departure my wife and I had a delightful time. The staff, food, and atmosphere was ALL absolutely wonderful! Keep up the good work, I look forward to our next visit.
I've been coming here since I was a small kid with my dad. Always had great food and friendly service. The place hasn't change in appearance and all those years. Heck with it though go for the food and you will enjoy it along with the prices
Straight forward diner. Sticks to your ribs (and anything else it touches). Not clean. Not particularly friendly. In a rough part of town. Usually a couple sketchy regulars inside and a panhandler or two out front. This place has been around forever. The food is about the only real draw. it's not even that good but the portion sizes are fair and the price is better than average. Don't come looking for vegan options and while we are talking about looking...it's best to not drink your coffee to the bottom. Get a refill when it's about 1/3 full. You don't want to see what is down there. The table side juke boxes are fun.
Girls weekend wanted try some place local on our trip. We found this gem driving around. Its a nice little family joint and if you haven't had a BLT melt we recommend it. Service was great
Ordered a Mexican Eggs Benedict but nothing Mexican about it, not even salsa. Advertised it had holllandaise sauce on eggs but it was a slice of American cheese melted on top. Hand printed sign on door said they had to raise prices $1 - $2 for menu items and in looking at the menu I saw numerous items prices were scratched or crossed out and new ones inserted. This was fine but my order was actually $3 more than the menu price (and it was not one of the crossed out ones), so the actual price of meal was misleading. Will not be returning.
Recognized that we were an out-of-towner, the lady serving us gave us a bowl of delicious 🍲 bean and ham soup.
The food was so good! The day cook, Kathy, Is a great at her job! The food portions are good size. The only downside is the server's.

Pre-ordered meals and when I got there the service was on point. They have an awesome pick up system where you don't even have to get out of your vehicle. The food is always spectacular
