Absolutely amazing food. Every time we have been, it's always perfect. Friendly owners welcome us each time, and it's hands down my favorite restaurant in town. Spicy versions of each meal are available on request, which is definitely a must.
Small menu and place. Starter salad was gross. The food quality and taste is average, not the best but not bad. SHOCKING prices. $20 to $30 for 1 regular sized "specialized" roll. Neary $20 for tofu soup. Not worth another visit for me.
We went for the first time this weekend for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. This place definitely lived up to the reviews. The Golden Tiger Roll was perfect in every way. We will definitely order this next time. The Chicken Fried Rice was fresh and tasted real - not overly seasoned. I really liked that they put broccoli in the dish instead of peas. The Chicken Teriyaki had actual pieces of large cut chicken breast.

Food was good. It's not bad. I'm spoiled because I've had really good food in big cities so this is good for what Midland has to offer. The sushi could be better, ours wasn't rolled tightly so it just fell apart and for the price it was on the high side for some rolls. Our udon was pretty good. it's definitely a place everyone should go try and support. The staff was super friendly.
Heard a lot of good things about this location since it reopened and it is definitely worth all the hype. All of the sushi was extremely fresh and fairly priced for the area. Rice for the sushi and rolls was cooked perfectly. Their hot foods were great too, I kept looking around at other diners plates because everything that was coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. It is a small dining space, and they can be busy during lunch time, but definitely worth the wait 😋 look forward to coming back and trying more
Please visit this gem with great food, unique options and friendly service. We live nearby and walked in tonight for dinner. The Udon noodles were phenomenal and fresh. The sushi was the highlight for me, I highly recommend the Volcano Roll. Egg rolls are served in a generous portion of 4 or 5 with sauce. Prices are good, too. We will return!
Family owned, friendly, fast service, great food, very clean. By far the best sushi in Odessa/Midland area. Head and shoulders above.
There is not another restaurant that comes close to Tokyo 1! This is hands down the best restaurant in Midland! Udon and sushi are our go to and they can’t be beat! Customer service is great, it’s family friendly, but also our favorite place for date night! It’s family owned and it shows!
The atmosphere is wonderful! The ingredients for the special drinks are made in house! The staff is as super kind and friendly!
