What a wonderful surprise this hole in the wall was! We ordered two bento boxes, one beef and one pork, and the teriyaki sauce was amazingly delicious. The tempura was light and fresh, as was the salad. The customer service is pleasant and attentive without being invasive. I highly recommend this place for a low key date night out.
I would give this restaurant 5 stars but the rice they served me didn't really have any taste. A quick fix would be to serve a higher quality white rice. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because when you walk in there is a slight smell, it puts me off the restaurant. Passing the kitchen, however, everything looked clean, bathrooms were clean, tables, ect. The food is basic but clean and the quality has always been the same. Tea is overpriced. It would be cool if they put up more posters/japanese stuff on the walls.
The food was decent, but nothing special. Given that and the very hole-in-the-wall feel of the place, including ordering at the counter, we would have expected lower prices. However it was close to $20 each... not as nice an experience as I'd expect for the price, not cheap enough for what it is. I don't think we'll be back.
Absolutely dumbstruck! This little place may look like a hole in the wall, but prepare yourself for some amazing food. The teriyaki and yakisoba were simple, delicious, and huge! The thing that really shined for me was the sushi though. It was a large roll that was made to absolute perfection! Mix all of this in with some of the friendliest staff, it's hard to believe that any restaurant in Astoria can compete with these guys! Well done Tokyo Teriyaki. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Oregon!
Had 3 of their Hosomaki rolls; salmon, tuna, yellowtail. It tasted amazing! Their sushi rice was seasoned well and the fish was high quality and the nori was not overly chewy. We loved the atmosphere with the privacy dividers between tables and the staff was lovely. Will be going back!
This place is one of those holes in the wall that is amazing. The food, service and atmosphere is wonderful. If you are like me and love trying new things, I highly recommend eating here, it's a delight
8.75 for teriyaki chicken plate lunch special. I didn't want the rice or noodles so they substituted extra veggies for no extra charge which was nice. Fast, friendly, helpful service. Very fresh. If I had more time & money I would definitely give their sushi a try. Clean establishment and restrooms. Would recommend.
The salmon and egg bowl was ok. The bento box was good. The miso soup was excellent. Edamame was fine. Tempura shrimp and vegetables was very good. They also have a few teas we didn't try including peppermint tea. They also sell Japanese snacks.
This absolutely charming wine shop/bar is an easy detour off the River Walk or a short stroll from the cruise ship dock. We thoroughly enjoyed the expert advice of the talented owner, Lisa, and savored several glasses of delicious wine on our beautif
Awesome service. Dwayne knows his beer. Always something good on tap. Great selection of other beverages as well. If you like board games thereâs an area in back with plenty. If you are in Astoria this is a must go to spot!
Our experience at Dead Manâs Isle was outstanding! Jamie and Toni went above and beyond, giving us the best tiki bar experience. DMI ranks at the top of our tiki bar rankings, weâve been to quite a few and this one stands out. Toni made drinks th

Such a neat old theater, it was a very cool thing to explore and the details in the place are absolutely incredible. Definitely recommend as a place to spend some time in on a trip!
What a great find!! We had the ceviche (habanero hot) and surf and turf bowl both were delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend. The woman who took our order and prepared our food was so nice. Very clean outside area to eat but you can also sit
My cousin got me hooked on this place. I donât like waffles but the berries and cream waffle is hands down the best thing Iâve ever tried. If this place were open all day I would eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The waffles are crunchy a
Coffee Girl is located at the end of a pier on the Columbia river. I can not think of a better place to drink hot beverages on a cold wet day in Oregon. The food and beverages are great but the coffee shop is a bit confusing to find if itâs your fi

Super fat burritos, very nice customer service. Worth the money, a little less costly than fast food by a few dollars. Portions are far larger than anticipated, service is good.
