The environment is nice and they’re very friendly. We had the clear soup, lava roll, and octopus and yellow tail sashimi. Everything was delicious!
On God I'm not even lying. This is probably the best sushi place I have ever been to because the sushi just hits all the right spots. I'm not over hyping this at all. The place is not fancy by any means but it is super homie, calm and quiet whenever I go. It's not expensive and it's literally way too good for how cheap it is. Tokyo sushi bar should know how great their sushi is because they deserve more customers.
God bless Tokyo Sushi Bar 👏👏👏👏 I'll just keep coming back.
Nice, clean, tidy, and quaint little sushi spot to stop for lunch and dinner. Takeout is always just as good on quality too. They have other great non-seafood hot entrees, and the bento boxes are a decent value option for the quantity that you get especially at lunch time! Will continue to keep going here for our sushi and Japanese food fix! 😊
The restaurant was so clean and smelled delicious. The food was quick, fresh and so good. Highly recommend!
Food was okay but the presentation was underwhelming. The service wasn't very friendly. He seemed like he wasn't having a good day and it showed. I will not be going back and wouldn't recommend.
Foods great but I usually buy for multiple people and we like trying new things. It has an option to note for who the dish will be for and it didn’t name it. Its annoying. I hope they write down names.
Okay sushi but the dining experience itself left a lot to be desired. Someone brought their child (maybe 2-3 years old) with them and the poor thing cried the entire time. The staff never once asked the parents to leave or take the child outside. Of course that’s the restaurant’s call to make. For me, I appreciate a restaurant that tries to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all. They did not do that. The sushi is okay but the poor dining experience I had will likely stop me from returning. Happy hour menu is appealing but not worth hearing a screaming child for the entire meal.
Sadly IMO,
This place has lost its way.
Walked in. Greeted by a man accros the room. “Seat yourself “
No biggie. Sat down and a waiter comes over to take drink orders.
Various drinks ordered. Mine was a bottle of cold saki that was pictured on the drink menu. This was supposed to be a dry crips saki.
A few min later drinks show up and the saki is a different kind. The waiter says no it’s just this is a bigger bottle.
Saki ended up being a cloudy saki (unfiltered) not bad just not what I ordered.
We ordered food.
Clear soup - sadly this is not clear soup it was beef broth while being advertised as chicken broth. Salty but edible
Spring rolls - very average but edible
Pot stickers - over done and slight cooled. Must have been sitting in the window for longer than optimal
4 pieces of sushi - This was the high point of the meal! It was escolar ( they call it white tuna)
This tasted like it should and was actually decent.
A sushi tuna combo dish - complaints from my companions that it was low quality fish.
Vegetable tempura - oil tasted almost like a chemical of some sort. I can only imagine that it must have been old oil. Or something I’ve never had before. Either way it was not edible.
Shrimp tempura roll.
Sadly this item is where they really fell down.
Ordered this to have a very hard to screw up dish as much of the rest was not good.
It took the server less than a min to bring this item over. As you can imagine a sushi roll of any kind cannot be made in a min.
It was also cold. So this was a premade roll! Not good. Or at least not good enough for anyone who eats sushi.
I sent it away immediately and the server tried to save face for the restaurant and within another min a new shrimp tempura roll showed up and it was hot! Fresh out of the microwave.
not only did I not ask for this but to simply heat up a premade roll is such a bad way to do things.
All in all, I’d never eat here again. But it is very cheep. The prices are downright affordable. And it is very close to a college campus.
So perhaps for people who have never had good sushi before, this place may be perfect if you have little experience and very low expectations.
Or if you have very little money.
I ended up tipping the waiter well, as one of the people in my party was visibly upset with the food and the service. So I felt bad. The young man who served us had no good excuses and seemed a bit concerned. Tried to explain and take off the bad items.
So I felt like it wasn’t all his fault. He was given a bad product.
This is all my opinion. It’s a well established opinion, but still just my personal opinion.
Give it a try, I dare you. Then give an honest rebuke if you feel it’s warranted.
Good luck!

This place pleasantly surprised me! This is a causal Vietnamese restaurant with beautiful plants decorated around the restaurant. The service here is absolutely great! They got our food out quick and even gave a smile to our faces!
The food exceeded
What a fun place to eat at! Here, you can try Russian cuisine in a cozy place. The entire place was clean, and the decorations fit harmoniously with each other. Our waitress was a little inattentive, but they took care of our needs and gave a honey c
I lived in Germany, and there was a kebab shop on almost every block. Sometimes, there were even three kebab shops on one street. Since I came back from Germany in 2006, I have not been able to find an authentic kebab until now. I'm so happy that Bab
Amazing service and delicious food. Yummy from appetizer to dessert, and please save room for dessert. The coconut flan and the pastry were so SO good. Our sweet waitress was so good (and her mom made the flan). I may need to move to Tampa.
The food is so delicious and the owner is super nice. Sadly I am not sure if they are still open I called a few times because we live far away so I usually call before I go up to make sure they are opened and we have gotten no answer. I am really sad
