Love going to this market, so clean, and so organized. The prices are great too and the atmosphere is very cozy. Their onigiri is so delicious and their melon bread is one of my family's favorite.
Good store if you're into Japanese pop culture, specifically games and anime. The grocery section is not as big as the other Tokyo Central locations. This one caters more to anime fans and gaming fans who may want to pick up some Japanese snacks or drinks along with their toys.
This place looks much better than it did in the past when it was a different Japanese supermarket. It has so many great goods from Japan. And so many nice places to eat at inside. I felt like I was back in Japan when I was looking at the stuff in this store. Good prices too. Lots of parking available with other restaurants beside it.
Great store! I’ve recently organized a Japanese party and shopped for it at the store. Got a lot of fun stuff. Will definitely come back there to purchase an authentic Japanese stuff again.
I spent a lot of time in Japan for business in the eighties and nineties. My oldest son lived there teaching English for years and married a young Japanese woman. We all visited this shopping center and had a blast.
The candy, liquor and cooking departments were my favorites where my daughter-in-law loved the fresh foods. Everything there reminded me of Japan except the service. It was very American and very poor. Why spend so much time and money to create a great shopping experience only to have it end with a Wal-Mart-like check-out?
Nice grocery store for authentic Japanese items. Very good prices it's worth the drive from West LA.
The store needs to update on their payment options for Snap/EBT. They do not accept it here and was a waste of time driving over because of this. They don't answer their calls either to verify information so it's just an inconvenience.
This is an okay Tokyo Central in a shopping center with a lot of good restaurants and food choices.
This market is not as wonderful as their main supermarket, but works if it’s geographically convenient.

One of the few traditional mochi and wagashi made by a traditional Japanese family from Japan. I â¤ï¸ this place and always buy Chikara Mochi here, Tokyo Central, or at Nijiya markets.

Old school nostalgia in a box. Take out and cash only, phone orders preferred. Lucky i went on a weekday on my last trip to Gardena and ordered up a 10 piece sushi box with the popular items walking up, the lady at the counter handpicked them for me
