My wife and I found this place by chance while I was smoking a cigar next door on the rooftop patio of Churchills on Cherry. We were looking for a place to get vegan food and weren’t having much luck and decided to try this place. They didn’t have much on the menu we could eat but asked for options and were able to order fried tofu with rice and vegetables and wow that was a delicious meal! The server and cooks were very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be back next time we’re in Macon. It’s a perfect little place tucked away in a back alley, might be hard to find if you’re not looking but totally worth it!
Soooo many people bragged about this restaurant, yet there i was like.. " oh ok" I just knew those noodles would be a hit ... the nastiest some I've ever tasted, sugary cold noodles.. I also had a cheese stick, fried rice was so basic and boring and that lemon chicken was nothing to write home about. Those dumplings were terrible, I've had frozen that tasted better. Also why is it so dark in the bathroom area, felt like i was walking into a haunted house. I would not return.
It's a small location and the line was out the door. The food was pretty good I went with a group of people and we had great service. The pricing wasn't bad either. Would revisit.
The staff is so nice and friendly. The food comes fast but seems like I can make it all at home with stuff from the freezer section at kroger. Cold noodle salad was good, never had something like it before pretty sure its just spaghetti with mayo. Filling portions and sugary sauces. Will give you some tasty soup for free. It was small inside and can be loud. The rice was cooked well. Got the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. Good for a quick bite, nothing fancy.
If you have no taste buds, then this is the place for you. Bangkok Chicken. Basically fried chicken tenders with a side of white rice, a side of some spicy sauce, and cold noodles with something that resembled mayonnaise as a dressing. With half a cherry tomato added as a topping. The noodles were terrible. I could have made this meal at home. Or even better. Gone to Chick Fil A. I asked afterwards if they had any Thai dishes as advertised on social media. I was informed they had Pad Thai, but it wasn’t on the menu. If I had known I would have ordered that. The Coke I ordered as my beverage was the best thing I had for lunch. I will not be back. Don’t let the photo fool you into thinking this was a good meal. This place does have a nice atmosphere, but it does not make up for the bland food.
Came here Saturday night before the Macon Civic Club show. Cute restaurant with delicious food. I've never seen curry served in a soup so I was surprised by that. It was good but I didn't want soup, and the shrimp still had the tails on them. So that made me have to either pick them out of the soup with my hands or spear them with my fork to eat them. Not fun when you're dressed up to go out. Had to ask special for fried rice which isn't on the menu, instead of the jasmine rice which we were previously told was bland. Wasn't a fan of the cold noodle salad, but you can order veggies instead. The egg drop soup which is served before the entree, was outstanding. At the end of the meal we waited at least 10 minutes for someone to bring us our check before we finally asked for it, and were told to go to the front, where we had to give our order all over again so that they could find it. Ridiculous on a busy Saturday night. Overall it was an OK experience but we probably won't be back.
This was our first time eating at Tokyo Alley in Macon Ga and it might be our last. Let's start with the positive things, the place was clean and the service was great. Our servers made sure our glass was never empty which means a lot and the food portion was hefty. Now, here comes the part that everyone is waiting for, the Cons! The free soup they give everyone tasted like pure soy sauce, no flavor, no enjoyment at all. My daughter's cold pasta tasted like it was left outside for a few days before they decided to put it on her plate. She did like her chicken strips. My wife's vegetables tasted like it came out of the can after it expired. She did like her fried shrimp. I ordered a Pad thai which tasted like they made it from the microwave. The noodle was dry and the chicken had no flavor. It had no peanut or peanut flavor which makes a Pad Thai.
Most consistent food on the planet! Always warmly greeted by Saranya with a smile and kind words. Been coming here for years and never disappointed. Great service and simple food choices cooked to perfection ! Be sure to ask about her dog, Doobie’s travels. He has been around the world and back. Enjoy.
We were looking for a new, local breakfast place to try while we were on Macon. By the time we arrived, the lunch buffet had been put out. I ordered oxtails, rice, greens, Mac n cheese... Excellent!! The portions were huge, and nothing tasted like i
Staff had just closed inside seating, but opened for us when my friend explained that it isn't as good an experience with drive thru. They were patient, friendly, and helpful! The food was unique and yummy ð¤¤

We loved this place. So much history. Did you know that Gregg and Cher's pool table is there covered with memorabilia? You can walk into the world-famous 7 head shower! Convenient parking, easy to find.
Beautiful visitor center and well Preserved grounds. Nice 17 minute orientation film too. Mounds are all within walking distance to visitor center but does take some time to walk in between. Walk ways are nice but do provide challenge to those with m
A very interesting cemetery with a lot of history. It was created when the city realized that the City Cemetery (see my review) would not be adequate for their growth. The terrain is very hilly and the roadways are tight. It contains notable peopl
I've traveled here on many occasions. Each time you come, you can find yourself getting into something different. If you like to walk and run, the paved trail is for you. If you'd like to rest and recharge, the wooden swings may be for you. Maybe
20231211 Be sure to duck! The little pathway into the Earth Lodge has a low clearance. It is also very narrow, not for larger size individuals and those who does not like small, dark spaces.
I had the privilege of working at this venue, and it's safe to say that it was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped into the venue, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff, who treated me with ki
Amerson has become my favorite place to escape to. I love this park so much, I've even volunteered to keep it clean. I've found so many interesting side trails to the river banks. My dogs and I have a lot of joy and fun here. Having a place to exerci
L&W is exactly what people had told me it was. A family run business where good people shoot pool and have fun. I had a great time shooting pool on the Diamond pool tables. At only $3 per hour, it is the lowest per hour I have paid in a long, long ti
Went to see a play here on Nov. 6th called Lover's and Friends and it was hilarious. Also very entertaining in general. Nice Theatre felt very authentic to its history with nice updates to the restrooms. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and the play
