The food was pretty good! We tried lots of different options including the cheese burger, miner burger, steak sandwich, chicken steak, etc. We started with a salad with the house dressing and it was good! The burger was also delicious, it included homework fries. Overall good experience.
Meg from Holiday Inn Express highly recommended this restaurant. When we pulled up its a small family diner look. I was very pleased with every aspect of our visit. We were greeted the minute we opened the door to have a young women sit us immediately. She took our bar order and promptly brought chicken noodle soup family style. We received also family style, green beans, spaghetti, salad and rice along with our meals. I ordered orange roughy and my husband Chicken Marsala. We both absolutely loved this place.
I liked it here. Food served family style. A little to much dressing on the salad. Spicy chicken pasta was very good. I had the Toki Ona sandwich which was basically like a Cuban. It was good but needed a sauce.
I only get to Elko Nevada once or twice a year but when I do I have to go to the Toki Ona Restaurant. OMG the food is fabulous everything is cooked to perfection and huge servings. And the waitresses are all very sweet and helpful. Prices are moderate and the place is very clean and well stocked.
I was passing through town and tried Toki Ona because ads said it has been a local favorite since 1990. I'm really glad I did! Besides the terrifically baked salmon and seasoned green beans, the clam chowder, salad and bread were all outstanding. The servers are polite and efficient, and the place absolutely buzzes with activity. I'll be stopping again at my next opportunity!
Ok so I relied on other reviews about this place so I decided to give it a try. The hostess sat me promptly during dinner rush but it was all downhill from there. The restaurant was stuffy and uncomfortably hot. The food was ridiculously priced, the ribeye dinner was 35 bucks and while the steak was large it was poorly seasoned and overcooked. The same could be said of the green beans, the fries, and the chili flavored spaghetti that came with it. Everything was soggy like it was fresh when they started cooking it for lunch but by dinner time it was beyond saving! The home made bread was good but that's about the only thing worth ordering here. The waitress took my order and brought it out in a reasonable amount of time but never stopped back to check on me or refill drinks. Had to call her from across the restaurant just to get the check. Save your money and go somewhere else!
Did a last minute stop in this town to fill-up and glad I did. Found this great restaurant that I wish I could take home with me. From beginning to end the food was deeeeliiiccious!! I ordered the lamb chops with soup along with calamari for appetizer. The soup tasted like a home cooked piece of heaven great for cold weather. It had meat balls and veggies and alotta love in it. The lamb chops were so melt in your moth goodness (ordered medium rare) with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy. I can't wait to pass through this town again on my next trip so I can eat here again.
The lamb chops were great, as were the soup and salad. Service was prompt. The family style portons of side dishes were tasty and more than two of us could finish. Hand cut french fries were excellent (not soggy as reported in other reviews).
Everyone was so very helpful and nice and gave us a tour so we could decide what we wanted to do Isaac Khryslyn catie and Belen answer all our questions and showed us around and assisted us thur put the whole day we will come back for sure
I could make an argument that this is the best gym in America. The Veterans discount alone made me feel at home. The people, the equipment, the accessibility, the locker rooms, everything is top tier. However, the fact that all of the women are marri
On a solo road trip. Sat at the bar and ate the salmon salad. It was absolutely delicious and also huge. The salmon and asparagus were warm/hot and cooked just right. The avocado was plentiful and perfectly ripe. There were loads of greens, and they
