Tofte's Table - American restaurant in Waukesha - 331 Riverfront St, USA

Love Tofte's Table. Been here plenty of times and it is always good. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We came this time to taste the new fall menu. Made a reservation for a Wednesday night. The place was packed when we got there. Got seated right away. There were 4 in our party. The drinks were all good. Got a mix of wine, specialty cocktails. Had about seven different plates and saved room for dessert. We always like to try the new menu items. A couple of the one ones were really good including; shrimp and ravioli, and kielbasa. We all agreed that the new Escargot was not up to our expectations. Too beefy and salty for our palates. Had the Flourless Chocolate Cake and Creme Brulee. Great finish to an awesome meal. Looking forward to our next visit :)

With friends or just as a couple, highly recommended!!! If you love food you will love TT! You have to try the chicken and waffles, mouth watering!! Our favs are the chicken&waffles, duck confit tostada, Brussel sprouts!!! Save room for dessert.

Our second time here. We love this place. Small shareable plates, craft cocktails. It's a perfect place for date night or birthday dinner or whatever. Highly recommend.

I don't want anyone to know about this restaurant! Service, food, environment, drinks are 10/10. My goal is to order everything on their menu. Plates are easily shared between guests and each bite is so thought out, you will not be disappointed.

We visited with a group of 8 for a business dinner and, upon recommendation of our server, enjoyed the multi-course chef’s selection menu, which also included dessert. The food was served quickly and each dish was delicious. Drinks were great as well. The staff took great care of our group.

The perfect date night. We had the truffle sprouts & tenderloin carpaccio for appetizers. Both were light & flavorful; a perfect start to our meal. We then had the scallop & beef tenderloin entrées which included hardier sides. Everything was very well cooked with balanced flavors. We ended our date with the cheesecake. I called this the exclamation point to a wonderful dinner!

Such a fantastic dining experience downtown Waukesha! Tofte’s Table has great ambiance & even better food! The food is served family style with some small plates like tapas. The servers were politely attentive & the owner even stopped by to see how we were doing! Of the dishes we had, the Bacon Maple Glazed Sprouts & the Scallops with Basil Risotto were absolutely amazing and my favorites! The Grilled Octopus & the Duck Confit Tostadas were also fantastic! The Braised Beef Short Ribs were done to perfection and literally fell apart with a fork. The sticky toffee cake & Irish Cream Cheesecake were also great ways to finish off the meal. The drinks are creative & fresh takes on the traditional staples. The staff make it fun with the delivery as well when you order a Smokey Manhattan. They like to promote lots of “local” drinks with bourbons & beers from all around Wisconsin which makes it even more enjoyable. I will definitely be back with more friends! Side note: a reservation is needed. This place is very popular & the picture of the dining room was taken after 9pm when we were leaving.
