My and my daughters and families new favorite beach... the only beach we plan on ever going to for summers to come! The bayside is our new favorite place now! With the restaurant, the calm warm water, the gorgeous scenery, the live music every Saturday, the family environment... it’s clean, it’s family oriented... it’s our new secret hideaway! WE LOVE IT HERE... our every weekend getaway!!! Every Sunday we are here... it’s perfection only 10 minutes from home <3
Beautiful location, nice and quiet 🤫
My kids love this place. For those specially who have kids and live in town of oyster bay I would definitely recommend to visit this. Quite beach, small, clean and more importantly they have sprey and kids rides outside so you can enjoy the benefits of Beach, water and park…
Love this beach. Super calm waters and easy access to the water from where you camp out your things on the beach. If you have stroller or wagon you can go pretty close to the water on a blue rolled out mat that leads to the water. Spray park is a favorite but can be slippery. Peak season in summer residents of Oyster bay and guests only before 5pm fyi.
Its a great beach, the only issue is there is a lack of signage, and the folks at the entrance stalls don't mention, that DOGS AND PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED! The town needs to update their website with clearer mentions of NO PETS ALLOWED. In order to find the rules there, you really need to dig around the, outdated, town website. PET OWNERS BEWARE
Beautiful beach right by the Jone’s beach. They have big parking, big shower area right by the parking, bars and cafe, kids water play ground and so on. Not overly crowded. Sands are nice and smooth though water is cold. Lifeguards are around as well.
I came across tobay beach because jones beach field 6 parking was full. I drove up and blurted out "this is our first time here" sounding really excited. The lady at the entrance said this is a "private beach for residents only and proceeded to say jones beach fields 4 and 5 are open.
I'm sharing this review because I feel like she was being biased towards my family and I. Yes, it maybe a private beach with a discounted rate for residents but there is a $30 fee for non-residents. Which I would've paid without a problem. So with that being said there should be signage stating it's a private beach for residents only. I wouldn't have bothered to drive up to only be turned away.
And I only know of the $30 non-residential because I decided to Google it after the fact.
The sunset is absolutely stunning, my only complaint is those green flies are ridiculous right now...load up on the spray because they hurt like hell..nice beach but I'd definitely prefer Robert Moses
Beautiful Tudor style home with amazing details inside and the docents were so sweet, knowledgeable, and great with my children. They gave us such a fun personalized children's tour. The grounds were beautiful and wonderfully kept. Be sure to find th
I definitely enjoyed my time here. I thought it would be a longer hike than it was. It was steeper than I was prepared for. Definitely not handicap friendly but I just took my time and sat on the ground or a log when needed. Worth it and absolutely b
The food is made to order, so it is fresh, the place is really just for takeout, only 2 tables inside. The most challenging part is the entrance, 1) hard to find, and 2) large step up to the door, not good for the handicap, that being said, the servi
