The food here was amazing!! We got a little of everything, shrimp, oysters, catfish, whiting, tilapia, stuffed crab, home made coleslaw, cheese grits and okra... All of it on point!!! The staff and customers were so friendly, made us feel as though we've known them forever. Only bad thing I can say, is why do y'all have to be 3 hours away from us? If I could give 10 stars, I would!! Thank you for the wonderful food and hospitality!!
Been here 3x since moving to GA. The food has been awesome. However, my last visit will be my last. The woman at the reception desk was awful! I mean to say she was rude and down right nasty. I have noticed her awful behavior on all my visits but was never the recipient of her ignorance, until now. I understand how stress levels can escalate when getting your butt handed to you because your so busy. I've spent many, many years in the restaurant biz. On that note, I'm assuming this person is the owner or at least a relative of. Because there is no other reason this nasty creature would be allowed to conduct herself in such an abusive and ignorant fashion. With my apologies to all the wonderful other staff....I will never be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone.
Service was poor toward blacks. Was served last and arrived before 6 tables or more. If I hadn't drove 30 mins I would of walked out. They also cut back on the fish plates I didn't get enough fish. The previous owner was better. If this is Family they should do better toward blacks everyday.
It was as always very nice the employees are always really nice the food was delicious , the waitress was constantly checking on us and the only thing we had to ask for was a to go plate as the saying goes . . Got there just b4 the crowd when Tiner's Fish House is open they stay busy . They are open Thursday from 11 am to 2 pm then 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm just hope you either call in your order or get there like 30 minutes after they open if you get there like say 6:00 pm you might have to wait or you could sit out in the screened in eating area .
Rude server, crowded not many places to sit. If you have more than four people, you cannot move the chairs or tables. My server was a correctional officer from Georgia. She must bring her emotions from her job to work.
My co-workers bragged on this place so much and it took me a year to try it. I finally decided to be fare to the establishment. I called and when the person got around to take me off hold. I suffered a severe setback from her professionalism and knowledge of the products being cooked. I ordered the Swai fish and a house salad. I then asked about the stuffed crabs and was told she didn't know what was in it. I then asked if she could find out what was in it because I can't eat certain things. The rocket scientist that she is stated, " No I can't, it has stuffing and thangs with peppers and I suggest you don't get if you can't eat it. I was appalled. I think my money can be best spend buying a tadpole a sweater. I am not from this area and like trying new places, but this place will never get a penny I found off the ground. I do apologize to the owner and productive workers at this establishment. I pray GOD sends you five extra patrons for this one you lost, and Katweeka (not her real name but it fits) needs to take a customer service class.
Usually when we order takeout from here, the food is pretty good, but tonight was not good at all. The oysters had an odd taste to them, like they were no good or were not cooked right. Grits tasted like it was old grits warmed over. Onion rings were not cooked all the way. Only had 1 jumbo shrimp on each plate. Needless to say after spending $17 on a seafood platter, it was not worth it at all, we had to throw most of it out. Only food that tasted ok, was the crab cakes and fish (even the fish was greasy). We will not be spending our money here anytime soon, after tonight. Very disappointing
Great local restaurant! The food and service we're both outstanding. I'll just also add that the other patrons were very friendly and conversational. It made me feel like I was from Blakely!
Truly enjoyed shopping here Got me a new washer and dryer with in-house warranty and free delivery!!! It was definitely the best price locally! Why go to Dothan? Shop local and shop with Mr. Jeff!!!
If you have ever been to Blakely, you know there is not many choices for food. Funny Girl Deli is a hidden gem. The food and service is great! I highly recommend the potato salad, its some of the best I have ever had!
This is a beautiful State Park. We tent-camped at site #3 on the lake for 6 days. Make sure you have sturdy tent stakes and a metal hammer to get through the compacted rock on the pull-through drive. The campsite hosts were friendly and accommodating
We stopped in last year, had an excellent meal. Came back camping this year and we were upset because we came by her on Wednesday and they were closed and stopped again today and it's just as good. Husband ordered turkey and cheese, lettuce and tomat
This place is awesome. The food tasted great and the staff made our family feel welcome. It was very cozy. We sat on the bar and we could see them make our food which was neat. Would highly recommend to anyone!
So my hubby and I actually travel over an hour just to get grocery from here. Though they charge a 10 percent surcharge we still save on average 70 to 100 bucks after we tally in gas for vehicle... love this place
