The portions are very big. Service was great. The food was good. If you're here when the weather is very nice you can sit outside overlooking the river.
I’m not really sure why all of the bad reviews for this place, food was very tasty, good size and very fair prices. When I went to pick the food up the host was extremely friendly, food was ready less than 15 minutes after I placed the order and it was a very positive experience. My only suggestion is to fill your sanitizer containers up. Trust me, I’m far from a COVID lunatic but I have always religiously kept my hands clean and it doesn’t make much sense to me especially being a restaurant to not keep something important like hand sanitizer filled. Makes one wonder how clean everything else is. Not deducting a star for it but I hope you take this into consideration for your guests.
I legitimately don't understand why this place has bad reviews. We stopped by today for lunch and the service was great! Food came out fast and was not only really delicious but pretty to look at. My burger was cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were probably the best I've had in a long time. You get a great view to go with your food if you eat outside - so we will absolutely be back.
We went to this restaurant is my friend. We were invited to check this restaurant because of the seafood. I got shrimp, crab asparagus, Alfredo, pasta my boyfriend, got shrimp, crab soup, capsize, and we got nachos to share. I would like to let you know that all the food was too much. I needed to take leftovers therefore, even if I get nachos that might be enough for you because it was huge. The appetizer and two meals cost us $86 per each week. I think it’s a pretty good price for almost 5 meals because both of our meals for very big and tasty was really really good. And our server Paige was super friendly. And she came and checked with a couple times. She was sweet very efficient at work.
Our server needs work on her professionalism. She very loudly made a comment for all to hear that her last table only left a $5 tip on their $70 bill. Food was ok but our entrees were served before our appetizer arrived. A comment was then made about having to take extra time to make two strawberry lemonades. If you can't be bothered to make them, don't offer them! Poor experience for a first time visit!
Timothy's Riverfront Restaurant had some of the finest nachos and wings from the state of Delaware. And the views of the estuary were awe-inspiring. Our only reservations were the low level of service due to limited staff during difficult times. I don't know if we needed to post a sign about low worker participation as much as we needed the TV and the sound system to mitigate the noise of meals. These are the details for us that they seemed to have missed - FOH, ambiance and a mister for humidity on hot summer days. However, we continue to encourage them based on their location. But let's be honest, a live jazz band would've elevated the entire atmosphere and energy of this establishment.
Only my second visit, the food is delicious! Highly recommend the California pizza. The cauliflower Buffalo bites were just the right level of spice.
Timothy's looks nicer outside than inside. The ambiance is not great at all and the hostess seemed uninterested in being there. I cant comment on the drinks because we didn't have any. The one thing that saved them was the food. It's was good. I'd eat there again, but only to order out and take the food home.
