Worth a visit. Great service. Great Italian food. At first I wanted to love this place. The reviews gave me high hopes. But suddenly I was transported into a small town hole in the wall that left little to desire. It smelled amazing though so I had to stay. The salad was iceberg lettuce and didn't have much pizzazz to entice us for the extra $3. The bread came in a large bag and was warmed in a pizza oven. It tasted like the bread I can buy in my local grocery store. I quickly started to second guess my dinner choice. The great service kept us here. However when dinner arrived we were pleasantly surprised. A well run kitchen turned out two classic Italian-American dishes that tasted like my Nonna cooked them. Large portions that were well flavored. The only thing we could complain about with our meals was the pasta was cooked a little longer than it should have been. Don't expect a good beer selection here. I didn't even bother to ask about wine. Meals are served with carrots "because they are cheap" and if you want broccoli "that will be $3.50". There is no real ambiance. The owner seemed a little rough around the edges (be nice to your staff, they keep you open). The place was empty on a Saturday night and turned away a table for 10 which was odd. But all in all, I'd probably come back here.

Food and service was absolutely fantastic! The food was cooked perfectly. We brought our service dog in with us and the owner brought water for us to give him while we ate and a snack for after we left. Easily one of the best restaurant experiences we've had and will definitely be back. Everything was delicious and the lasagna was huge! Tim and his staff were awesome!!!

Well to be honest, the stuffed mushrooms main taste was mush with too much lemon and white wine. Pizza had too much oregano, not enough sauce and the crust was wayyyy too thick. I'm used to Italian New Haven thin crust pizza this was the polar opposite. Maybe just us...

Yummy food, fair prices, nice portions. Party of 5 with appetizers , we all wish we ate here sooner and now making this place a must to visit (more than once) when up in the Berkshire's. Everyone had an amazing meal. Fresh and delicious food!

I came Here over the summer and had two of my students eat lunch for a group. We were seated right away. The server was attentive initially. We ordered two of the 2 slices and a soda special and one of the the students ordered something. From the time we ordered until we got our food was 45 minutes. The only time they ur server came back to us during that times was when we asked for our ticket before we got out food and boxes (as we were on a time crunch) When we asked for the ticket to be split, the server scoffed at us and told us that was supposed to be told to her before we ordered. She then left us and our food started coming out, one slice at a time. When the server finally came back to us she flipped the initial ticket over and wrote our totals on the back of the paper, then said “there it’s split…” by the time the final slice of pizza came out, the cook brought it and we had to ask him for boxes. The pizza, which I had to take to go aid eat cold while working, was ok; there was a decent amount of sauce, though could have been more, the crust was withstanding the time it took for me to finally have time to eat, and there was enough cheese to cover the inner and lease a slight crust (half an inch or so). Overall the pizza was pretty decent, the wait time from kitchen to table was horrendous, and the service was terrible. I will definitely not go back simply based on the pizza for sure.

I didn't hate it. I gave this place 4 stars because it has so much potential that I think a few changes would get it there fast! My first thought is the entrance. When you walk in, if there is anyone waiting for a table, people are either standing around people who are eating or outside. There wasn't a hostess, so when we walked in we weren't really sure where to go. The bus boy saw us and immediately greeted us, cleaned a table and sat us. (You'll hear a lot about this kid. If I owned a restaurant, I'd recruit him!) So, we are sitting there, get our drinks from the waitress and I see the TV. There are 2 tv's. So, while we sat there we watched American Ninja Warrior. I expect this at a pub or a bar, but this is supposed to be an Italian restaurant. This brings me to my next critique: this place needs to decide...pub or restaurant? Onion rings, home made chips or bruchetta...i feel like maybe they should have a late night menu and a nicer Italian menu for dinner. They served the Italian dressing in a quart sized squeeze bottle. Even an empty wine bottle would be better. (Photo included) I need to say some positives...the food is GOOD! Even the bread (which the bus boy admitted was not freshly made) was yummy! Warm bread with butter, veal picatta, veal parm...all delicious and huge portions! The bus boy noticed we were done eating and wrapped our food. He was very observant and should wait tables! Overall, the place seems sort of mixed up, but the food and service made up for it ten fold.

Pizza as an appetizer was very good. Lasagna as an entree was excellent. Beer was cold and of good size frosted mug

Bella was a great waitress. She was running around like crazy and still kept her cool in a restaurant full of demanding out of Towner's. Food was great! I did a build your own pasta and my boyfriend had chicken Parm, both were really good.
