Timeout #4 - Sports bar in Friendswood - 3338 FM 528 Rd, USA

No servers on a Sunday 12.17. Place is packed and , they have 1 server who can't take a correct order. Ordered 20 wings never got sauces or basket of onion rings ..BLT had 2 slices of bacon. Server didn't seem concerned. She had the entire floor to herself ,guess she wanted all the tips for the day. My first and las visit . No discounts...paid full price. Owner needs to retrain this whole team.

If you're looking to feel safe and accepted - Just what you hope to find in a neighborhood sports bar. Friendly and efficient servers and a great group of people meeting to enjoy the sports playing on a number of well situated televisions. Unfortunately, the food I had was pretty bland and just not quite there. I had a blue cheese burger and waffle fries. Waffle fries were slightly undercooked and flavorless and the blue cheese on the burger was either really poor quality or just not there as no blue cheese flavor was detectable. Susan's BLT was served on limp barely browned bread with under ripened tomatoes and the bacon, while plentiful, was not crisp and was very chewy. The accompanying onion rings, again undercooked and little flavor. I'm hoping that the day I visited was just an off day for the cooking crew as the food is all that kept this bar from being a great neighborhood hang out.

I know this is a Packers bar. Because the Packers fans are friendly, I prefer to support local business, and I actually *like* seeing the game among others, I’ve been coming here to see my out-of-town team’s games for a couple seasons. But if you have 20 TVs in the house, and you call yourself a sports bar, would it really kill you to turn one TV in a reasonably viewable spot to the game I’d like to watch? Isn’t that the very idea of a sports bar? Responding to my request by saying “This is a Packers bar.” excludes others who might spend money in your establishment. I immediately returned home and subscribed to NFL Sunday Ticket. Cheaper than buying beer and food there over 16 weeks, anyway. Won’t be back.

I’ve come in here for the past 5 years. Never complained when they took away the nachos/cheese. Censored the music and took off a lot of rap for a while. Seems like the music isn’t as loud as it used to be either. My only solace was i could vape in here, now it’s being told can’t do that any more I’m at the point i could go to Scotty’s down the road Update 12/12/23 Will never be back to this establishment. I used to a take a speaker in there and play music in the back patio when their speakers were not working. Whilst there on 12/8/23 the manager told me to put my speaker up so i obliged. Decided i would play music on the juke box. After they got tired of music in spanish they proceeded to skip 36 songs i had paid to hear, with no speaking of reimbursement of the money i had spent.basically taking it as a loss and deal with it. Will be taking my business to Scotty’s sports grille

Holly has been our server the last two weekends and has been great both times! Quick with the drinks, great food suggestions, and made sure my friends who had too much to drink had rides home

They have a great lunch, the burgers are amazing! I recommend going there for a lunch worth the cost.

Stopped by w/a cousin and played a game of pool. Nice place, relaxed & good music. Drinks are good and the atmosphere is too. Stop by if in the area!!

It's a great place to watch football games especially if you're a Packers fan
